A/N: The first few times I heard this song I thought he was saying

I was scared of flamingos, but it didn't match the context, and after hearing it properly I realised it was

Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go...

Jokes on me, jokes on me (with the drink from me tune of Hymn for the weekend)

Now for people wondering why I have the genre in my summary, I do not want to confuse readers. This book comes under various genres and many (by which I of course am referring to myself) are confused with paranormal being horror or paranormal necessarily involving ghosts, which is not the case. Paranormal is anything that lies outside scientific explanation. And when it comes to horror its all things that focus on frightening the audience.

'...Thanks for watching this video. I am glad for having all of you as my backbone. If it weren't for you, I would never reach this position; If it weren't for you guys I would never be able to have my first live concert today.'

I was really feeling nostalgic remembering how these people, my fans or what I like to refer them as friends had made me-a nobody, a somebody.

'You guys didn't care if the videos weren't recorded in a recording studio, you guys were fine as long as I uploaded on time,' I chuckled.

'This all was possible just because of you people bothering to watch my cover song videos. Hoping to see you guys at my first live concert. If you liked my singing don't forget to subscribe! And hoping to see y'all at the concert! Toodles!'

I switched the video recording off. I took my mobile lying in front of me on the coffee table and started playing hungry shark evolution.

Just then I heard Cassie's calling my name, her voice getting louder with each step as she neared her destination.

'Are you ready?' She asked on reaching my room.

I nodded instinctively, not bothering to check if she noticed the gesture, continuing to play a game on my mobile. I was trying hard to get my great white shark to eat another great white, when the tables turned and I was shark soup. Coming to the real, normal (or what I so far assumed to be normal) world, Cassie was like a sister to me. She seemed pretty intimidating-long, light blonde hair tied in a simple pony, stormy grey eyes, standing at 5 feet 5 inches- but I knew under her hard and intimidating shell, she was a big softie.

She kept a Lindt dark chocolate in front of me and proceeded to continue whatever she had in mind. She was running around like a mad woman, checking the necessary arrangements for tonight's concert.

When Cassie was out of eyesight, I sneakily glanced at the chocolate and tried controlling myself. I really did, but the temptation was hard to resist with the chocolate begging me to give it justice. Chocolate being a drug to me, I quickly unwrapped it and gobbled it up.

'The band crew is on their way, they will meet us at the venue, we need to start ASAP or else we won't reach the destination on time-'

Cassie's voice broke. I assumed she  had noticed the current messy stage I was in. True to my belief: she was turning red.

'Oh! No, Rebecca!' She said calling by my  full name, indicating I was in trouble. 'Oh my gosh! Look at your face young lady! Already we are getting late for your show and you, are hogging chocolates.'

I responded by taking another bite of my "dark" chocolate, purposely adding a moan. Not that the moan was fake. If there existed something called Ambrosia, I am sure it would be  related to chocolate.
