Jewel lay under a dumpster away from the freezing rain as she was giving birth."come on jewel you have to be strong" her mate, rust mewed " i'm trying" panted jewel "I'm just so tired". Her mate looked at her with icey eyes "your one of the strongest bloodclan warriors i know, so hurry up". Jewel yowled as she gave one last push and turned to welcome the kit to the world "no" her mate said "she needs to come to you, she needs to be strong" jewel staired at rust with disbalief "what, she's just a kit!"," and if she can't crawl to you now how is she going to fight, hmm?". Jewel then looked into her mates eyes and was horrified at what she saw, the hatred, the bloodlust, ~i dont want my kit growing up like that~ she thought as she began to forming a plan to get her and her kit away. "Her name is Echo" said jewel. Rust looked at her " what? Why not something that would strike fear in the hearts of others!" He hissed. "Because i don't want it to". Little did they know was that echo could hear them and understand them as she was very intelligent, she listened to her mother and father fight and that wasn't the first ether.
After two weeks of watching her clan, their unjust, and savage ways, jewel finally decided that she would take her kit and leave the clan. " come on little one we need to leave" jewel wispered to echo as she picked the silver and black kit up. Jewel ran as fast as she could with a little scrap of fur in her mouth to the edge of town before a figure tackled them to the ground." And where do you think your going" hissed the cat. jewel recognized rust from his voice and set echo down, still unaware that she understood everything they were saying and doing. "I'm leaving this forsaken clan, it isn't any place for a kit to grow up" she growled out as her ex-mate clawed her ear. Rust glared at her "you think you can just leave bloodclan" he hissed again. She nodded bravely and he chuckled (can cats chuckle?)lowly in her ear "well" he grinned a phycotic grin " you can't".
