The last hours of Severus Snape

Her grave

*Severus's POV*

I knelt down near the grave and traced the inscription of her name with my cold fingers.Inside this gave lay the last of Lily Potter.My Lily Potter.....

"Lily? I know your watching me from up there and tho you to may have already heard this I want you to hear thus again one last time.I love you no matter what." I felt tear's pricking my eyes.

Just the thought of her made me want to cry.I was missing her so much and even though I tried my best to move on I just couldn't.I felt so guilty to think that it was all my fault that she was gone.Oh if only I hadn't told the dark lord the prophecy.

"I did everything to protect your son and let me tell you it wasn't a easy task.It wasn't easy looking into those emerald green eyes for his.It made me think about you." I sniffed trying to stop the tears from falling.
"It wasn't easy at all to look at someone who looked like my enemy and still love that boy so much but I still did it only for you.I don't want anything much in return from you.All I want is for you to forgive me and if we could just be friends again? I miss you a lot and I have no friends at all.You were the only one who ever cared for me in this world." I finished.

Suddenly I felt the dark mark burn and I knew it was time.My last hour had passed talking to my Lily and I was happy I had finally confessed her all my feelings for her even though I was actually just talking to her grave.

Clutching my left arm I got up and apparted to the boat house but what I didn't see was a aburn haired girl with green eyes was watching me from behind the tree and most of all I didn't see her whisper "always."
