Rion Hafaway, son of King James, has always known that once he turned eighteen, the throne would be given to him. As everyone thinks that he would be a great ruler, Rion has another plan in mind. He could no longer bare having to wait for his new title so the sudden death of his father came into play.

However, all Kings need a Queen and right after his father's death, a competition for a maiden began.

It is no normal competition of going to the castle and trying to win Rion's heart. It is instead a raffle with every woman in his kingdom and the girl chosen from it will be picked.

Simple.

Naya Hartman, happens to be the winner of it. She isn't as enthusiastic as any other girl would be and as she continues to live in the castle, exploring in any way she can, the secrets of the castle are revealed to her.
