Grayson's POV
I felt the bright morning sun hit my face and I immediately groaned, ready to punch whoever that just opened my curtains. My head was pounding from last night's drinking, and I feel like I can throw up all that I drank yesterday.

"What time did you come home last night?" I heard my mother's familiar stern voice call from the other side of my room.

"I don't know like eleven." I lied. I know for a fact that I was still clubbing with my friends when it was three so god knows when I got home. Now that I think of it I don't even know how I got home.

"Grayson, I'm your mother, I can tell when you lie. And plus I was still awake at eleven and I'm pretty sure you weren't home." Well that lie backfired. "In fact you called Ethan at four in the morning to come pick you up, and instead of him I went and brought you home."

"And I also drove the rest of your friends home and had a little talk with their parents." As soon as those words came out of her mouth I was completely awake. I had forgotten about my major headache.

"Mom what the fuck? You snitched on them?!" I yelled, although I know that now I was in deep shit for talking to her like that. "GRAYSON BAILEY DOLAN! That is no way to talk to your own mother!" She screamed so loudly, making my head pound even more. I saw her face getting red, she took deep breaths to calm down.

"I've asked myself many times why you act like this, but I can never find the answer. I really don't understand your behaviour anymore. I mean there is Ethan, he is nothing like you. I just need to find a way to put an end to these issues that are going on because I am sick and tired of you Grayson."

This time she didn't yell, she spoke normally. And even though I don't get affected by people, the way that she sounded so disappointed in me like never before really got to me, and this time I feel like something bad will come out of it.

April's POV
I felt the hot afternoon sun hit my face, and I knew I wasn't going to fall back asleep. I slowly opened my eyes, and took a deep breath, not really sure if I was ready to wake up and face the world.

Unlike most people, I have lived through a lot in my seventeen years of life, and unlike most people there are still terrible memories that haunt me. It took me years to build up my walls but yet they are still unstable and can fall apart from one hurtful word.

It all started from the moment when I was four and my dad walked out on me and my mother, leaving her to raise me completely alone. Then school started and things as simple as people pulling my braids and stealing my cookies at snack time got to me.

From there came elementary school in which people didn't let me play with them, then in middle school all the rumours started, and finally in high school when guys used me as a toy I finally decided that I've had enough. Now I'm homeschooled, and I got nothing from the outside world to bother me.

I brushed away all the bad memories and got up, headed towards the bathroom. After showering, brushing my teeth, drying my hair, and adding the small amount of makeup that I wear, I decide to put on a cute outfit that can be comfortable for the day.

After getting ready I went downstairs, but when I entered the kitchen my mom was busy on the phone, already dressed, while making breakfast. I took a seat on the island in the middle of our kitchen and waited for her to finish. As she looked up at me, I waved at her in silence and she just smiled in return.

"Okay Lisa, yeah I can meet up today. Yeah I know that place, okay great... I'll see you there at four. Bye." She finally hung up the phone, but I couldn't help but ask her about her phone call.

"Who's this Lisa that you were taking to?" I asked her out of curiosity, hence I've never heard of this "Lisa" before. "Oh she's a very old friend, and by old I mean college days old. We have managed over the years to keep in touch, and now she wants to meet up with me." I just nodded, not really wanting to get into my mothers business.

"Breakfast is served." She smiled at me, and I smiled back while mumbling a small, "thank you." She grabbed her black purse off the island, and made her way to the door.

"Okay, honey I'll be back around maybe six because I have a very important doctors appointment and then I'm meeting up wth Lisa." I nodded.

"Bye mom, love you." She said it back quickly, and ran out the door. Although I regretted not asking her about her doctors appointment because my mom is completely healthy, so what's the deal?

[A/N]
New story! I've been wanting to write a forced marriage type of book forever, and now I'm finally doing it. I decided that Bridget Mendler will be playing the part of April, and I know she's 18 now but we can pretend she's 17. Please vote and comment, and advice is appreciated!
