Lafayette and I were up on the terrace still talking. He wasn't trying to let me leave. I kept looking over at Alex and Missoni and it looked like they were having a wonderful time. I felt a twinge of jealousy because of the way he was smiling at her. He didn't show me that smile when we first met.

"stai bene? are you alright?" I shook my head and looked back at him.

"Oh, yes, sorry. Just getting lost in my mind. This night was amazing and I just can't stop thinking about the clothes." He nodded his head.

"Aimeriez-vous avoir une autre boisson?" I furrowed my eyebrows. I only got two words out of that and it was 'would you'. He nodded and then said, "mes excuses, my apologizes, would you like another drink?" I thought for a minute.

"Mhm, sure why not? Just one more, but, as long as you agree to help us sign Missoni tomorrow." He smirked.

"If I made such a promise, you would abandon me and I would be left with no company." I smiled and shook my head.

"I wouldn't dare." I batted my eyes at him.

"Lets discuss a little more. When were you expecting your first order to be delivered?" I smiled. I've got him right where I want him. We continued to talk for what seemed like days. He actually called it a night before I was out of energy. By this time, I'd had way to many glasses of champagne and I was feeling the buzz. Lafayette then escorted me over to Alex and Missoni and she was pretty close to him. She had her arm wrapped through his and she was leaning up against him. She had her other hand sitting on his leg.

"Penelope darling, we must get going. You know how are when you stay out past midnight." I looked in my purse for my phone. I checked the time and it was only 11:42. It looked like everyone was leaving. This party was ending early. Lafayette then peeled her off of Alex and he played like he was so sorry to see her go. Maybe he played it a little too well.

"E 'stato un piacere incontrare tutti e due." Alex said while waving a hand at them. Lafayette nodded his head while holding on to Penelope.

"We look forward to the meeting with you tomorrow." Lafayette said.

"Rest assured your mission has been successful. See you soon Mr. Marino, you too Ms. Lewis. I'm excited to hear about the new store and it's plans for my designs." Penelope slurred and I tried to hold in my excitement. We said our goodbyes and they left the party.

Alex and I looked at each other and smiled extremely big. I couldn't contain it anymore.

"We did it! We signed Penelope Missoni for the store!" Alex said with that amazing smile on his face. I nodded and did a little dance but then stopped when a couple people started looking in out direction. I was a little sloppy drunk but I could handle my self. "I think we should go to the hotel bar and celebrate!" I shook my head.

"Look at this view! It's amazing. We can't get this view from the bar." He looked out and then nodded. He grabbed my arm to steady the both of us and we made our way to the end of the terrace.

"It takes me back to my happy place at the office. Gives me the same feeling. This is one of my favorite cities. New York is my home but, this city is just so amazing." I smiled.

"It's one of my favorites now, because this is the scene of our triumph!" He laughed and grabbed two champagne glasses from the waiter walking by. He handed me a glass. "Cheers, to the King and Queen of Divine." We clinked our glasses and I took a big sip.
