Dear Every Adult

I never understood why adults were so mean. Always putting us down. When I'm an Adult I won't put kids down just because their younger. I want to be that adult that kids can come to talk to when they feel alone because they know that i'm not one to judge. Adult these days think that kids/teens grow up too fast. But what if it wasn't the fact the we grow up fast. What if it was you didn't grow up fast enough? Adults seem to think they know everything, but the truth is,they're just as lost as us. They always seem to think they can boss kids around. But the truth is...you can't tame us. We are going to live the way we want to. We will do what we please. We will fail but everyone does. Let us make our own mistakes. Just because you made that mistake when you were my age doesn't mean i will. Because let me tell you something heartbreaking... I'm not you. I might make the same mistake as you did but that doesn't mean i'm going to end up like you. I'm my own person.So let me Be me.
