mia: i live with nate and connor and they have a daughter
mia: brooklyn is really cute and i love her, but she leaves her stuff all over the place
alberto: oh
alberto: wait, how does nate and connor have a child together?
mia: connor slept with a girl in high school and then the girl wanted to give brooklyn up for adoption, but nate (who was connor's boyfriend by the end of the girl's pregnancy) told connor that they could raise her together
mia: and now here they are
mia: i live with them because they wouldn't be able to afford this place otherwise

alberto: so i take it as you like kids?
mia: i don't know, i guess
mia: brooklyn give me a lot of inspiration for my art
mia: a lot of my photos are of her too
mia: she loves when i take pictures of her
alberto: aw that's cute
mia: she didn't like me until she was about two years old though
mia: but then i started braiding her hair and now she loves me

alberto: i'm gonna write that down in my notes
