Rilaya & Rowbrina One-Shots

First and Last

Hey, sorry for taking forever to write a new one shot. Things have happened and weren't going great. Anyway everything is fine now.

Disclaimer: I don't own gmw if I did, Rilaya would be happening right now.

Any grammar mistakes or spelling are all mine though so yea and with that being said enjoy. :)

You're asleep in your bed. You're dreaming about how better life would be if the one thing, that you wanted to happen the most, actually came true. You'd be happy. You wouldn't care about anything else in the world, but that one thing.

All of sudden you are woken up by the sound of your phone going off. You look at your clock and see its 4:00am. You wonder who's calling this early. You grab your phone getting ready to shout at whoever woke you up. However, as you read the caller id, you began to get worried. You answer and the first thing you hear is "Maya, I'm scared,".

You listen carefully to the sound of her voice . Its quiet, shaky, filled with fear. You don't wait for her to say another word. You drop your phone and dart out of your apartment, not caring about wearing any shoes or being changed.

You're outside now, running as fast as you can. You try your best to not step on any rocks or anything sharp, but you do anyway. You ignore the pain and just keep on running. Soon you can feel yourself start to grow tired. You still don't stop. You push yourself to run even faster.

Its not long until you find yourself at the back of an apartment building. You run to the stairs and make your way up. You stop at a window when you get to a certain floor. You look in to make sure its the right one. Sure enough it is. You open the window and crawl in.

You stand there in the middle of her room breathing heavily. You hear footsteps outside the door. You don't know what to do. You look around the room for a place to hide. You're about to hide underneath the bed. Instead a voice stops you and you freeze.

"In here"

You turn and see the closet door open. You see the outline of her body. She's shaking in fear. You make your way over to her.

"Riley?" You whisper.

"Maya who's outside my room?"

You think it's her parents, because parents do that to just scare the kids or to make sure they're asleep, right?

"Your parents"

"Maya, my parents aren't here"

The door handle to her room begins to turn. The door opens and she pulls you into her closet before the intruder sees both of you. You can hear Riley's breath shake. You go to open a crack of the door to see who's in her room.

You feel a hand on yours. You realize that Riley is the one grabbing a hold of it. You feel your face heat up. You're thankful that its dark.

"Maya?" She asks.

"Yes honey?"

You know she smiled at the nickname you gave her.

"Are we going to be okay?"

You're not sure what to say, but you don't want to scare her even more.

"Yea, yea we are. Don't worry."

She wraps an arm around around you and buries her face in the crook of your neck. You can feel your heartbeat quicken as each second passes by. You hope she can't hear the sound of your heart, but the chances of that is one in a million.

As an instinct you wrap your arms around her waist and pull her close. She mumbles something, but you didn't catch anything she said. You pull away slightly getting ready to ask her, but you instantly feel pain in your feet.

You forget that on your way here you stepped on some sharp objects. You hiss causing Riley to take a step back, well a baby step back (considering that there was barely any room for them both fit).

You slide down the wall and Riley copies your movements. She asks you if there was anything she could. You tell her no and to be quiet so that you both won't get caught by whoever was in her room.

All of sudden you hear footsteps directly outside of the closet door. Even though you can't see you turn to look at Riley. You grab her hand and quietly whisper sweet things to try to calm her down. You don't like to admit it, but you're beyond scared. You don't know what to do. Except you do.

You begin to wonder about how this could possibly be the last time you would ever to your best friend. You realize that you're no longer worried of what she'd think about your feelings for her. You take a deep breath and exhaled slowly before talking.

"Riley?" You whisper as quietly as you could.

"Yes?"

'Its now or never' you think.
You're not exactly sure how to tell her. Instead you don't. No. Instead you decide to show her.

You cup her cheek. You use your thumb to wipe away any tears that have fallen. You start to lean in slowly. You're not sure if this is a mistake, but its too late to stop now. Your lips are now centimeters away from hers.

"I love you" is all you say.

You press your lips against hers. At first she doesn't move and you want nothing more than to pull away, but you can't seem to bring yourself to do that. You then feel movement and you realize that she's kissing you back. You both smile through the kiss. She pulls away and simply says "I love you too, Peaches"

And in that moment you forget about everything around you. All you think is how much you love the girl sitting right in front of you. The fact that she feels the same way makes you love her even more.

You're pulled back into reality when the door opens. You turn around and look up. You only see a tall figure and an object that he/she is holding. You were right. You grab Riley's hand and give it a kiss. Next thing you know you hear two loud bangs and your screams along with Riley's. Everything goes black and the very last thing on your mind is that she was your first and last kiss, that you both said your first and last "I love you"'s to one another.
That she loves you the same way you love her.

Uh so that just happened. I actually wasn't intending for the ending to happen that way,but I thought it was better than the way I was originally going to write it.

P.s anyone here watch girl meets legacy? The way Maya said "you smelled her hair" made me think she was getting  jealous like "Riley is my girl, you don't smell her hair only I do" :') lol okay bye.
