He laid in the hospital bed as she sat in the chair and watched him. He was handsome when he slept just as much as he was when he was awake. He rolled over on to his side and opened his eyes, oh those blue eyes, how she lived to see them, her thoughts were interrupted by his husky voice "heh hey what are you doing there beautiful?" She blushed and he smiled "Em come lay with me please?"

Emily's P.O.V.
He asked me to lay with him, and how could I refuse? So I climbed into bed next to him and he turned me on my side and spooned with me, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me to him, I felt protected and heard him whisper "I love you and I want to show you that but you won't let me"

Michael's P.O.V
I loved her. Ever since I saw her with those little kids and the way that they rushed to her when she arrived I knew that she was the one. I've wanted her so badly but she'd never let me have her. She told me when I asked her out last week that if my next scan came back clear that she'd date me. I'd been praying every night and day for it to come back negative. So as we cuddled I heard her breathing steady and knew that she had fallen asleep, not that I minded of course, she was gorgeous. I played with her hair while she slept until I finally pulled her on my chest and fell asleep with her as my blanket.

*The next morning*
                  Emily's P.O.V.
"Emily! Get up!" I heard a barely recognizable voice whisper-shout. I peaked open my eyes only to groan at Janice, Michael's nurse. Wait? Michael? I opened my eyes suddenly alarmed at the fact I was not only in Michael's room but in his bed, ON TOP of him. I rushed at getting off but not fast enough to wake him. I motioned for Janice to meet me outside while I explained.
