Forgetting You

Chapter 7

He turns around and waits for me.

"Hey."

He says planting a kiss on my lips.

Walk walk to the bus stop in silence.

The ride is also quiet with little chatter between us but josh says

"I wonder what will happen when we get to school."

"I don't know, I hope they don't hug me."

Is all I say.

We arrive at school an no one notices us at first but they all look at us after a girl who I didn't even know hugged me.

I wince in pain, she hugs so tight.

"Be careful, she's still sore."

Says josh loudly, that's how everyone knew we were back at school.

People run over to us, asking what happened and what injures we got, I think I said what happened to me like a 100 times.

When I say that I almost died, people who are popular that don't like me because they're jealous or we used to be friends say under their breath 'why didn't she.'

I roll my eyes at them.

The bell goes and everyone runs to class except one girl, I think her name is Chloe, she stays behind and says

"Can I help you with your bags?"

"Nah, it's ok. I can manage."

I tell her.

"No, I insist."

She says pulling on the bag.

"I may be hurt but I can still carry my bag."

I say pulling on my bag.

"Just let me help you."

She yells.

"No!"

I yell back.

The next thing I know, I'm pulled to the ground. I'm laying on my hands and knees struggling to breathe.

Josh comes to my side putting his hands on my waist and says

"Are you ok?"

"I will be once I don't have the urge to vomit."

I say lazily.

Luckily a teacher was near by and she escorted me to the bathroom where I sat next to the toilet vomiting every few minutes.

After an hour I feel better, so I decide to go to class but I'm stopped and taken to the principals office.

I walk in and josh and Chloe are there.

"Take a seat Elissa."

I sit down.

"Now I've gotten statement's from these two and I need to hear yours."

"Well, josh and I were about to walk to class when Chloe asked to help me with my bag, I told her no. She insisted on helping but I told her that I was fine but she pulled on my bag and we had a little tug-o-war with it and I ended up on the ground in a lot of pain and I even vomited."

I say.

He taps his fingers together and says

"This is not the first time you've done this, Elissa only woke up from her coma the other day and this is what happens."

"She's done this to others?"

Asks josh.

"Yeah, to other students who have been in the same ordeal as you two."

He tells us

"I'm sorry Chloe but I'm going to have to suspend you."

Chloe starts to get angry and tries to hit me but before she can't lay her hands on me, sir takes her into another room.

"What a great first day back after being in hospital for 2 months."

I giggle at what josh has just said.

- 3 months later -

I wake up to my alarm going off but I didn't set one.

I pick up my phone and it's the alarm that I get when it my 'time of month'.

I look at the notifications for it and it's the third month that it hasn't come.

I sigh 'it's probably just an iron thing' I reassure myself.

I head towards the bathroom and a thought pops in my head

'. What if I'm pregnant

I start to stress, ill just get a test from the chemist.

I have a shower, get dressed and I walk to my car.

I drive to the closest chemist and get a box of pregnancy tests, the lady looks at me funny when I buy them.

I drive back home and go straight to the bathroom.

Luckily mums not home.

I start off my peeing on two tests.

I wait a few minutes and hold both tests before my eyes.

One says positive and the other negative.

I pee on the other two and wait.

When the minute it's up, I close my eyes, hold them in front of me and open them.

They both say POSTIVE.

'. I'm pregnant.

I sit in the bathroom and cry for an hour, I decide that it's time that I should tell josh.

I walk over to his house and knock on the door, josh answers.

He sees that I've been crying and asks

"What's wrong?"

"Are you the only one here?"

He nods his head.

I walk in and josh starts mumbling about something but I don't pay attention, I cut him off and say

"Josh! I'm pregnant."

Just to let you guys know...

In the beginning part of the chapter when she vomits; it's not because she pregnant, it doesn't happen that fast, it's because she's in a lot of pain.
