"Wag mo sana akong ipagpalit. Ikaw at ako na lang ulit." She sang the bridge flawlessly and I can't help but shake. Alam niyo yung pag nakita niyo yung crush niyo na naka-3points sa basketball? O kaya nakita niyo yung crush niyo tapos nabangga kayo tas nagsorry sainyo? Ganung klaseng kilig.

And it was time for the last chorus. She was smiling at me pero nakikita ko yung kaba sa mukha niya.

"Sige na please. Wag ng mainis. Bumalik ka na sakin. Sorry mahal, ika'y nasakatan. Bumalik ka na sakin." The people from the GT applauded and Kathryn thanked her "band". Binatukan ako ni Kats na parang sinasabi na tumayo ako.

"Ginagawa mo dito?" I asked. Nawala yung ngiti niya. Parang nalungkot. Pero si Celestine na yung sumagot at nagulat ako ng katabi niya pala si ate Jackie.

"She organized this whole get together for you. She missed out on loads of rehearsals, studio meetings, photoshoots and prescons dahil lang dito. You guys, I know we've been really controlling. Pero nakakamiss din kasi yung may sinisita na dapat discreet lang. Nakakamiss din makitang binibwisit ko mga araw niyo." Celestine. I looked at ate Jackie, waiting for her to say something.

"I'm all in for KathNiel." Was all she said. Tumayo naman si Kats at tiningnan kaming dalawa ni Kathryn.

"Ako din. KathNiel ako. Magayos na kayo. Mas gusto kong pinagsasabihan kayong tumigil sa kakalandi kesa yung ganito." Kats said with a small smile. Walang nagsasalita. Si Kath nakatingin lang sa sahig.

"Alam niyo guys? Sa labas muna kami. Magusap lang kayo diyan. Pakitawag na lang kami pagtapos na ha? Kasi hindi pa tayo kumakain eh." Sabi nung isang member ng Parking 5 Infinite. Halos parang Stampede na sabay-sabay silang bumaba at yung buong second floor, kami lang ni kath yung natira. She took out her phone and started typing bago siya umiwas ng tingin sakin. I didn't really realize how much I've missed her. The last time I ever got the chance to see her face to face was 2 weeks ago. So, all in all, we've been having this fight for a month now. Ang bilis ng araw.Tapos next next week, aalis na kami for the world tour. I shook my head. Napupuno ng schedule yung utak ko when I should be patching things up with my girl.

"Why'd you do this?" I asked.

"I know it's not much compared to everything you did for me these past 8 months. I just wanted to make an effort. I wanted to make you feel special and wanted." Nagsigh siya saka tumingin sakin. "Gusto ko lang naman maramdaman mo na kahit na ganito ko... Grumpy, Cranky, Reklamador, maarte—"

 

 

"Don't forget irritable at iyakin." I reminded her. She raised her eyebrow pero ako nagpipigil ng tawa.

"Even though I'm all that. Gusto ko malaman mo na mahal na mahal kita." Hindi ako sumagot. So she sighed and checked my face kung may reaksyon nab a yung mukha ko. "DJ, from the start alam mo naman na hindi ako yung perfect na girlfriend. I'm damaged. Kay Dom palang, warak na ko. Nung naging girlfriend mo ko, broken pieces pa ko. I'm not perfect. I'll shout at you on the most random times. I'll get PMS. I may not show it but I do appreciate the little things. But I'm trying to be the perfect girl for you. Ewan. Pwede mo namang makuha kahit sino diyan—" I couldn't understand what she was saying. I was too preoccupied with her beautiful face that I had to cut her off, lean in and kiss her. At first she was surprised. Unable to move. But eventually, her hand finally found its place on my waist and then she kissed me back.

You know the kind of kiss where, everything's a whole blur and you feel like you're the only people in the world. Like the world has stopped spinning for a moment and you wouldn't care if it rained the whole summer or if it's 36 degrees during BER months... It's that kind of kiss. We pulled away and she was smiling from ear to ear and so was I. Niyakap ko siya. Alam niyo yung sobrang higpit na yakap na ayaw mo na siyang pakawalan.

"I'm sorry too." Was all I said pero umiyak siya bigla.

"Sorry DJ ha? Sorry kung pinaramdam ko sayo na hindi ka mahalaga sakin because you are. Ikaw ang pinaka-mahalagang tao sa buong mundo. I would put you first before anyone else."

 

 

"Even for Maltesers?" I jokingly asked.

"You should know your limits." Sagot naman niya at tumawa sabay yakap ulit sakin. I miscalled Kats at tinext na umakyat na sila dito. Kath entwined our fingers together habang sinasalubong namin yung mga tao pabalik. All cheering and stuff.

"I love you." I whispered in her hair. She nodded and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you too."

 

 

Kath gave Kats, Celestine and ate Jackie a hug before returning her gaze to me.

"Together?" I asked, again.

"Forever."

 

 

"Promise?" I held out my pinky to her.

"Promise, promise." She took my pinky and kissed it. Just then, may nagflash na parang camera at nakita namin ang parking 4 kasama si Quen na tawa ng tawa dahil napicturan nila kami.

Mga Ungas. HAHAHAHAHA.
