The Nerd Is Hot???

The Crash/Prologue

"MOM. Please be okay. MOM." I cry in between sobs. "MOMMM!
!! Please wake up!!!" By that time I knew that she was gone. Then I hear sirens and I have a sliver hope and I believe she is strong and that she can make it if she just holds on.

1 hour before the crash happened. (This is before she became a nerd and depressed, and her family still loves her.)

"MOM can I borrow your car"
"Where to honey" My mom says her words slurred from drinking. Ohhh, great she is drunk this should be fun.

"I was thinking I might be able to go to this party down the road."

"Why on earth would you have to drive if it's down the road." she said with a hint of curiosity.

"Never mind, I will be back in a few hours. Don't wait up."

"Bye, and don't forget to use protection it's better safe than sorry."

"That's not going to happen." I laughed at my moms words. Since my dad isn't home much  and there to comfort her over her loss she has decided to drink away her problems and turn to the favorite bottle 'Jack Daniels.' She has been kind of depressed ever her mom/my grandma died of lung failure.

My friend Chloe was hosting the party which I guess was kind of exciting considering this is my first party.

Chloe and I are the most popular freshmen in the school so I have a reputation to live up to so in my case everything matters.

As soon as I reach Chloe's house I see a few couples sucking each others face like there was no tomorrow. The music was loud I can feel my body vibrating. ( AN Don't take that the wrong way you pervs.)

I am now looking for Chloe but can't find her anywhere. As I am looking for her I pass the dancing area and see a familiar blonde head moving in every direction, Chloe. I start to walk up to her but notice the chiseled jaw, dimples, and the most beautiful green eyes a person can have, Brendon, A.K.A. my boyfriend.

They started to talk and I can't help but notice that Chloe is flirting with him as in my best friend Chloe.

Then they started to get closer and closer until their lips were touching. I stood their silent tears running down my cheeks. The man that I love and thought loved me back just kissed my best friend.

It hurts way more than anything you could imagine because deep down I knew that it would happen it just took some time.

I got out my phone and called my Mom to pick me up. I just need time to think about what happened and how to confront it.
My mom pulls up in the long drive way and tells me to hop on in and I totally forgot that she was drunk and that I should drive because I am in a better state than she is.

"Mom I think that I should drive"
"Hell naw just get in here I am too tired to handle this shit right now."
"Jeez, okay "

We were on our way when I noticed that mom kept drifting in and out of sleep so I tried again to drive but we were almost there so I decided not to she seemed to be doing a good job at it.

Then I noticed that we were on the wrong side of the road. It was only then I noticed the headlights in front of us and the sound of the cars colliding. I screamed as my mother hit her head on the window and the it cracked and my. Mom's  side of her head was covered in blood. I tried to undo my seatbelt and move to my mom's aid.

But I felt a sharp pain that shoots up my leg. It won't move it's wedged in between the car and the other car._______________________________
