It's 9am in a small suburb of Perth, Western Australia, where Troye Sivan is just waking up after a long tour around the world. He should be thinking of breakfast, but all he can think of is the love of his life who is halfway around the globe, and a day behind. Troye's eyes adjust to the sun that shines through the shades in his bedroom. The palm trees outside dance in the wind and he can already tell it's going to be a nice day. He gets out of bed and opens the door to his bedroom as he is greeted by his family, oh how he missed them so much. His mom, Laurelle, has made breakfast for all of her kids except for Steele, who doesn't happen to be home. They all sit around a table and eat away as Troye tells them stories about what it was like to experience new cultures from around the world and meet thousands of fans that he'd never met before. "It was amazing." He says with a smile, "I never thought I'd get to this point in my life, but here I am, and I am so happy that all of my fans want to share this journey with me". Troye's dad, Shaun smiles and continues eating his breakfast, he's proud of his son and couldn't be happier that Troye is happy too. But on the inside Troye is sad, because he misses Connor Franta, who is in California and who he hasn't seen in months. Shaun speaks up for a moment, "Have you heard from Connor at all, Troye?" As he wipes his mouth with a napkin. Troye looks up at his dad, surprised that he noticed he was somewhat saddened. "We've texted, and facetimed, but otherwise I haven't seen him in months." The table grew silent, and soon all anyone could hear was the clatter of forks hitting the plates which the family was eating off of. Shaun looked at Troye's sad face for a moment and then looked down, feeling bad for his son. "I'm sure you'll see him soon, Troye."
After breakfast, Troye sits at the table and stares out into the sunny Australian sunrise. Once again, Connor is on his mind and he can't escape the pain he feels in his heart to have him by his side again. He pulls out his phone to check his messages, but he hasn't heard from Con since the other day, which worries him. Could he be sad that they're not together, either?
Troye gets up to walk to the kitchen, when he suddenly hears Connor in his mind.
"Con?" He says to thin air, "Con are you here?"
He walks a few feet until the next thing he knows he is on the ground, bleeding, and his cellphone is ringing. No one is home, no one can help him. Troye groans, a tear streaking from his eye because he knows who it is.
The name flashes on the screen, Con.
