RE: subject A14
Subject has been sent into the maze. Our first trial. Hopefully she doesn't die, and if so it shouldn't matter. We can always send her backup. The flare will spread. There is no doubt that before the trials are over that the flare will reach us. We must act quick now.

She woke up in the rattling, grinding metal container. How'd I get here? She thought to herself very well knowing there was no one else with her in here. Only a couple of boxes. As she stood up she was immediately thrown back. She rubbed her back. "Dammit" she yelled. What even is my name? She thought to herself. The death trap stopped and doors opened above her. She blacked out.
-
She awoke in a unfamiliar place. Of course she couldn't even remember her name. Which very much irritated her. Her surroundings where very small she was in a room. She was on top of a bed. The table next to it had a note. "This is your new home" she read aloud.
"Just remember. W.I.C.K.E.D is good, Darcy" she finished in a whisper. She dropped the note and walked out of the room she was in. To her dismay there were stairs and as she was about to fall she caught herself, placing both hands and pressing against the poorly made walls. She walked carefully down the stairs. As she reached the bottom a big land was revealed into her vision spectrum. These walls rumbled and opened up to a place that left her in awe.
-
The first 5 weeks went by as slow as you would think. She gained her ground realizing the box that brought her things would save her life the first weeks. She made gardens, fed animals, bread animals, creating more tools and anything you could think of to survive. She sat at the doors most nights waiting for the them to close and would wake up early to see them open. Every night she heard weird noises, something she never wanted to see. The fifth week brought the fifth greenie. That term she made herself. The box no longer alarmed her. She just got out of her bed and walked out to it. Not even realize most people didn't pick up quickly what was going on. "What's going on" asked Alex the previous green bean. "Oh it's just this new alarm clock Alby and I put in. Like it?" She snickered in her accent sarcasm dripping from her mouth. "No" he said monotonous. "Well too shucking bad- We are getting a new greenie, so it looks like you aren't the green bean anymore." She finished patting him on his back roughly. The flashing and noise stopped. Leaving everyone waiting for the box to stop screeching. Darcy laid down in the grass looking up towards the blue sky.
-
The screeching stopped. Darcy leaped up from the ground and grabs the the metal doors open, ripped the handles up to reveal another boy. "Bloody hell" she muttered. "What up green bean." She asked hopping down into the box with the blonde haired boy. His big brown eyes look into hers. "Where am I?" He asks similar tone to Darcy's. "Hell, green bean. You'll enjoy it, possibly." She said reaching out to take his hand. As they grasped hand they both knew something wasn't right. "Newt?" Darcy whispered. "What?" The new boy questioned. She shook her head and continued with "nothing let's go green bean. We need to give you that tour" she looked him in his big brown eyes. She pushed him out of the box. "Alby" she shouted too the young man over by he previous greenie.
"Good luck greenie" Darcy said and winked at him. Alby was now standing next to her and she whispered to him "there will be a gathering after you give him that tour." He nodded his head and ran off to the traveling greenie.
-
Darcy moved with caution into the room. She opened the newly made doors. It wasn't her fault that sometimes she gets mad because people are being shucks. "Alright. Every week on the dot some new shuck comes up in the box. I don't know how we are going to keep expanding this place without some brave people to go out into the walls." "What about the new green bean" Alex suggested cutting her off. "Where is the shuck is he anyways?" She asks. "I'm here." An accent filled voice says from the corner. "And if you don't mind me asking. What's a shuck?" "Don't ask questions just listen greenie. Tomorrow we are going exploring. Me and you. Deal" she had told him.
"Deal. And my name is Newt." He responded. "Okay greenie. Welcome to hell" she smiled at him.
-
The day began like any other, Darcy walked out to the walls. They weren't open yet the sun only just began to rise. She gasped as a hand tapped her shoulder. "Son of a- Newt. You scared me" "I apologize, um if you don't mind me asking why is it that you and I are the only ones to have this seeming... accent- if you will" Newt questioned. Darcy looked at him puzzled "I couldn't quite tell you the answer to that" She responded. "Let's go grab stuff for once we go in, alright?" She stated and Newt nodded in response.
-
The walls screeched open, Darcy looked to Newt's nervous face. "Don't worry" she said reassuringly and put a hand on his shoulder pulling him close. "Now there are a few things you should know about those walls, they open, they close. Got it?" Darcy said in a whisper shout, he nodded and backed away and questioned "what are we waiting for" running off to the walls. Darcy appreciated his passion, with so little time here.
-
"Say what do you call this place?" Newt asked her as she sat down against the wall and took out a sandwich.
"Well out there it's like- like... well I don't know"
"Like a glade" Newt continued taking a bite of his sandwich
"That's not a bad term, good one"
"I suppose in here is a maze from what I noticed" Darcy continued. A loud clank alerted them. They gave each other a look and turned back the way the came
"Good thing you suggested marking where we turned" Newt said to Darcy as they walked out of the maze. A fire glinted at them in the slowly dipping sun. Newt turned to Darcy, gave her a wink and ran off towards the fire. Something is different, and she wasn't sure what it exactly was.
