The following day, the same old routine happened. She went over to her seat, and that's when Sakura started talking about Lev and how they're going to date later. [Y/N] slightly chuckled at her enthusiasm. While in class, [Y/N] would sometimes stare at the sky, or her stationary. She tried to memorize the colours she could see as much as possible. Never know when she's gonna lose them again. But when lunch break finally arrived, Sakura couldn't be seen. 'She probably went to see Lev.' [Y/N] rested her head on her palm. As classmates all over were talking about love, she was just sitting there quietly eating her lunch. Then, she noticed Kuroo walk in. She expected him to talk to Kenma first, but surprisingly, he went over to her straight away.

"Yo, [L/N]-chan." He gave his signature smirk that girls would fall head over heels for.

  "You need something?"

"Yeah. You free later? I wanna do something later."

"I guess? What time and where?" [Y/N] put the bread she was eating away from her mouth to pay more attention to Kuroo. Of course, she saw some girls at the background glaring at her, but she didn't really mind.

"Later at 4pm on the bench I brought you to before."

"Oh, your favourite spot? Or something like that?"

"Yeah," He felt slightly embarrassed about that. "So, will you come?" Small murmurs could be heard.

"Yeah, sure." She replied and went back to eating. A few gasps could be heard from her classmates.

The rest of the day flew by quickly for [Y/N]. Once school was over, she checked the clock and saw that it was 2pm. Meaning she had 2h to get ready. She decided to head home to change out of her suffocating uniform. She exchanged a few words with Sakura before wishing her good luck for her date and waved her a small goodbye. While [Y/N] was walking home, she noticed how blue the sky was. A tug pulled the corner of her lips as she felt a hint of excitement for her meeting with Kuroo later. Once she reached home, she checked her phone and saw that the time was 3:03pm. Afraid she might be late, [Y/N] hurriedly dressed up in a red shirt and some jeans before heading to the designated place to meet.

"4:15. God, where the hell is he? Is this some stupid prank?" [Y/N] looked at the time on her phone. And just as you probably guessed, Kuroo was late. A small sigh escaped her lips as she waited for him. While waiting, she saw a few--no, a lot of couples passing by. Each was doing something different, but they all had the same meaning. Some held hands, some ate ice cream, some were giggling, and she saw a mother gently hold the hand of her daughter's hand to comfort her after the little girl's ice cream dropped.

"Must be nice to feel loved." [Y/N] slouched on the bench as she wondered what love felt like. She never experienced it in her life, so she wouldn't know. But then again, she wasn't desperate to feel it. She already knew that that feeling will never be felt in her life.

Tired of waiting, [Y/N] was getting up from the bench and just ditching the whole thing.

"H-HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!" A bunch of flowers were suddenly in her face.

"Wh-wha--!" [Y/N] moved her head slightly backwards to get a better look at the flowers. Her eyes opened up in shock. She saw something. It was special. Sudden. But a small feeling of fuzziness was suddenly emitted in her body.

"P-Pink...?" She whispered.

"I-I'M SORRY I WAS LATE, I COULDN'T--" The person holding the flowers moved them away from her face and was panicking. But when he looked down at the flowers, he was suddenly speechless. As if he saw those flowers for the first time.

  "Kuroo? Wh-What are you--"

"Stop, stop. Let me explain," He put a hand in front of her, "I was trying to find really pretty flowers for you since it's Valentines Day. But I couldn't choose properly and I forgot about the time. But here," He gave the flowers to her, "I hope you enjoy them. They're a really nice shade of pink, no?" He gave her his signature smirk.

"B-But you told me the other day that," [Y/N] was too shocked so her words were only slowly coming out from her mouth, "you'd only give flowers to your valentine. So why... Shit, don't tell me--" She looked up at him and saw him grinning ear to ear. His cat-like orbs were staring back at her, and they looked really happy.

"Haha, I got found out. That's right. You're my valentine, [Y/N]-chan!" He put his hands on his hips and looked really proud of what he managed to accomplish.

Upon hearing that, [Y/N] felt something strange stir in her stomach. It was the first time he called her by her first name. The sky behind him suddenly became more vibrant and the flowers she was holding seemed to glow brighter. Her heart was thumping quite fast and she could feel a blush creep up her cheeks. Her eyes kept staring back at him, but a moment later her eyes darted somewhere else as she softly said,

  "Y-You idiot."
