Chapter One~What Regiment?

Eren's POV
Move. Move dammit! Mum... She's... She's bleeding! Why the hell can't I move?! Why isn't Mikasa helping her?! I can't feel anything! Where'd dad go?! Why is Mikasa not moving?! A-ah! My whole body hurts! Shit! M-Mikasa! Why is she..?! Dad?! Why does he have a syringe?!
"DO NOT FORGET!" He yells.
"I-I can't hold him down any further!" A small voice says. It's Mikasa!
"What're you--" everything else blurred. What the hell?!

"EREN!" A voice yelled.
"E-eh..?" I say, shaking from what just happened.
"Eren, what happened? You're sweating.." Mikasa asks, obviously concerned.
"I'm fine, stop worrying about me"
"Bu---"
"I'm serious"
"Fine, go get ready. We have the introduction ceremony later"
"Yeah, yeah.."

LE TIME SKIP!

Me and Mikasa walk down the hallways of the place with our other best friend, Armin.
"I heard the way they're gonna decide which regiment you're going in by you going into a chamber and this computer / person asking you questions!" He says.
"Interesting.." Mikasa replies.
We go to the mess hall and have our breakfast. We all talked about which regiment we would want to join. But Horseface's reason was what angered me.
"I wanna join the MPs so I could live in luxury and stay safe from those A.L.I.E.N.S" he says.
I stood up from my chair and walked up to him.
"Oi, whaddya think you're doing?!" He exclaims.
"You think that sitting back and relaxing is gonna stop us from getting attacked?! Huh?! Just by saying that I can already tell you're a coward!" I yelled.

"Don't act you're braver than the rest of us! It's not like joining the Survey Corps will change anything!" He yells back.

"Guys, that's enough" Mikasa says as she grabs my hand,"get a hold of yourself" she whispers.

I sigh. "Sorry.." I mumble.

"EVERYONE SIT YOUR ASSES DOWN!" Commander Shadis yells. Man he can be such an ass.

"TODAY IS THE DAY WE'LL BE DECIDING WHICH REGIMENT YOU WILL BE IN! OUR SCIENTIST, HANJI ZOË WILL BE TALKING TO YOU AND ASKING YOU QUESTIONS THROUGH A COMPUTER SYSTEM AND WRITING DOWN EVERYTHING YOU SAY! I WILL CALL YOUR NAMES OUT ONE BY ONE AND YOU WILL ENTER THE CHAMBER! ONCE THAT IS ALL DONE, WE WILL ANNOUNCE WHICH REGIMENT YOU WILL BE JOINING TOMORROW!" He continues, I'm pretty sure everyone is deaf now. I really wanted to join the Scouts because I wanted to fight the A.L.I.E.N.S. After all, they were the ones who killed my mother.

"EREN JAEGER! YOU'RE UP FIRST MAGGOT!" I hear him yell.

"YES SIR!"

I walk into this chamber like room and turned around to notice the door shut behind me.

"Hi! My name is Hanji Zoë! I'll be asking you a lot of questions so please answer wisely as I will be recording you're answers" the voice said.

"U-uh, I'm Eren Jaeger.." I say.

"Nice to meet ya, Eren! Now let's begin!"

"Number One! What would you do if a person you cared about was being attacked by an A.L.I.E.N?"

"I would sacrifice myself to help them."

"Number Two! If a person offered to sacrifice themselves for you, would you let them?"

"Of course not!"

"Calm down.. Jeez, it not like it'll happen anytime soon.."

I sighed. She asked me about 20 more questions until I left.

"Last question is, if you were to be put with someone you cared for, who would it be?"

I couldn't answer it.. It was either Mikasa or Armin, Armin is my bestfriend and Mikasa, well... I don't know how to describe her. I saw her as a bestfriend more than a sisterly figure.

"I-I don't know..." was all I said.

"Hmm, well, that's all for now! You may now exit the chamber through the door in front of you."

TIME SKIP!

Everyone had finished their 'tests' in the chamber.

"I couldn't bring myself to answer the last question.." Armin said.

"Don't worry, I couldn't decide either, how bout' you Eren?" Mikasa asks.

"Same.." I say," I really hope we all get to be in the same regiment, but we shouldn't jinx it"

"You just did.." Armin says.

"Shhhh, pretend like he didn't say that.." I hear Mikasa whisper.

I chuckle at her statement.

Hanji's POV
"What we're the results?" Erwin asked me.
"There were three kids who couldn't answer the last question, let me check... It was Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert" I replied.
"Hmm, they must all be friends then" Erwin added.
"Tch, they look like brats to me" Levi said.
"Everyone does to you, shorty!" I say, laughing a bit. I heard him click his tongue but I continued laughing.
"Now, we just chose which regiment they will all be in. Eren seems he's very determined to join the Survey Corps, Mikasa wants to join because she wants to be with Eren and Armin wants to join so he can help humanity. Mikasa seems like she'd be a good fit for the police coordinate.." Erwin says.
"What?! She seems pretty strong though! Plus, we can't just separate her from Eren! She was apparently taken in by the Jaeger family after an incident with a couple of thugs so I can see why she wants to be with him!" I protest.
"Tch, but we can't just put her in the survey corps just so she'll be with him. If she joins, maybe she could finally get the military police to get their asses up and working" Levi says.
I sigh in defeat. "Alright.. You have a point.."
