The Dilemma (Kuroko No Basket fanfic)

Chapter 1

There i was passing my last day of summer at home doing nothing. " It was an entertaining summer, i had a lot of fun with my friends, but now i can't wait for the day after this day to come!" i whispered full of excitment. After all, i would become a highschooler this year! It didn't take me much time to decide which school to attend. My choice was obviously Seirin High. First of all i wanted to attend the closest school to my house, it would be too much of a hussle to cover long distances just to get home. The other reasons that made me choose Seirin were that my brother also attends Serin and my best friend is going to attend Seirin too.

Lost in thought, i heard a voice.

- Shiro! Do you hear me?? My mum asked.

- Yes mum, what do you need? I asked.

- At last, you heard me! Do you know how many time i have called you?? I need you to go to the convinient store to buy some ingridients for dinner! My mother said a little angrily.

- Mum, do i really need to go now? I asked her.

After hearing my words, mum glared at me, so i understood that it wasn't the time to joke around.

Therefore, i quickly changed my clothes and put on my shoes.

- I am leaving! I said.

- Be careful! My mother said.

My mother has always beed the type to worry more that needed and get angry quite easily, but she is also kind, generous and always takes care both of me and my brother.

Rice was one of the things that i has to buy, so when i went in the convinient store i tried to reach it but it was too high for me.

-Why did i have to be so short! I said to myself.

That is when a tall handsome guy with green hair and outstanding green eyes that were hiding behind a pair of glasses. His hands were also covered in bandages. I felt like something was very special about him and i didn't even know the guy!

-Thank you. I said to that guy with a big smile.

-It was nothing. He responded while blushing.

Then he bought a strange frog-like item and left.

-What a strange, yet kind guy. I whispered.

 After buying the things that my mother asked me to, left the store.

-It will soon be dark, so i have to hurry or else mum and brother will worry about me. I said to myself.

Because i was in such a hurry, i bumped into someone, and then fell down.

-Are you alright? The guy that i had bumped into asked me.

After hearing that, i full of curiosity, raised my head to see the guy that was talking to me. Although he lacked in presence and facial expresions, he had blue silk-like hair that matched his blue eyes, which reminded me the blue of the sky. That blue has always been my favourite colour. When i saw them, i was instantly captured by them. 

-Yes, thank you for asking! I answered.

- And sorry for bumping into you, sometimes i can be very clumsy. I also added.

-There is no need to apologise, it was also my own fault. He said.

At that time i didn't fully understand what he meant, because it was clearly my fault for bumping into him.

 -I forgot, what is your name? I asked.

-My name is Kuroko Tetsuya, nice to meet you. What is your name? He said.

 -I am Hyouga Shiro, nice to meet you too! I responded.

Then i looked at my watch to check the time. 

 -Oh, it's late, see you Kuroko-san, i have to leave now! 

-Bye. He said.

Afterwards he disappeared quickly without me noticing.

When i went home my brother and mother were waiting for me.

-Why did you take so long? You know we were so worried about you! My mother said.

-What would i do without you sister???!!?" My brother said while crying.

-You are overreacting! I told them.

After the scolding, i thought about my encounters with the two kind strangers and hoped that someday i would meet them again.
