Blobs are known for their likeness to all things shiny. If they see something with only a little reflection they will take it. This is why people stopped showing their emotion in their eyes, because if they did the blobs would steal their eyes. Now remember this is why we had everyone's emotions were taken away. For eyes are the path to ones soul.
