"M-my name is Marco Thomson," I couldn't help, but stutter as I stood on front of the class.

It was my first day at Pressford Elementary School. I just moved to the small town of Pressford. It was nice. A few shops here and there. The houses where big and pretty.

I really liked the small park near the creek. It was on a big open plot with only trees along the creek and one big one near the edge of the park. There was also a big jungle gym.

I wanted to buy a puppy and play with it there. Playing catch with it sounded fun. Mom didn't like dogs though. Another reason is we didn't have money.

"Please have a seat Marco," My teacher, Ms. Baylen, instructs me on what to do.

I never liked being told to do, but I didn't want to get in trouble. I nodded my head before I walked to an empty seat and plopped myself down.

I look to my right and see a buff looking boy. He had dark brown eyes and wavy black skin. He looked like a freaking giant compared to me, with my slim body and scrawny limbs.

To my left was a girl with brown hair. She looks at me and I noticed has a bit freckles. She narrowed her Hazel eyes at me. I quickly looked away. She looked really cute though.

I focused back on the board. Ms. Baylen continued to talk about how to divide. Math was never my strong point. I had so much trouble understanding it.

I sigh while glancing up at the clock. 11:30... To find out the time of lunch I look at the schedule that was written on the board. 11:55...

Class seemed to drag on forever. I finally got up and stretched. As Exited the room I was met by principal, whom I had already met that morning.

"Marco," she said with a fake cheery voice.

"Oh. Mrs. May," I tried to smile at her.

She seemed stressed. I figured being a principal would be difficult. She had rings under her eyes and slow movement.

Observing is a skill I just have. I can figure out what people want with their body language, though I couldn't figure out what she wanted... Other than sleep of course.

"I was wanting to tell you that we are eating outside today. Grab your lunch box and go have fun."

I nodded and turned to leave. After I grabbed my lunch box from my cubby I went outside. There were kids running around and playing while others sat and are their lunch. It was full of energy.

I walked to a small tree and sat at the trunk. I opened my lunch box to find a pbj sandwich, juice box and pack of gummies. It wasn't much, but it would get me though the day.

I was about take a bite of my sandwich when the buff not from class approches me with a few other kids following him. He had a devilish smirk which I didn't take as a good sign.

"M-may I help you," I mentally scold myself for stuttering again.

I didn't want to show fear, making them provoked. I was was scared though. He's huge and I'm tiny. There are more then. I'm only me.

"Thomson. Why don't you give me a bite of your sandwich?" He still has his look.

I shake my head then reply, "My mom made it for me."

"Did she now?"

I nod my head before a really small girl pushes him back. She seems a few years younger than me. He gasps a bit while all the kids make 'Oooh' noises.

He looks up and down her. She narrows her grayish-blue eyes at him while she pushes her light blonde hair out of her face.

I just stared in awe. Even though she was so small she stood up against the boy. So brave. Unlike me....

"What are you doing?" The boy glares at her.

"Obviously stopping you from bothering another kid," She hisses.

"I wasn't bothering you was I, Marco?" He gave me a warning glare.

I stayed quiet, too scared to talk. They all stared at me, making me extremely nervous. I looked to the girl then the other kids.

"Was I?" He grit his teeth and growled.

I shake my head quickly earning a look from the girl. The boy's friends seem bored and turn to leave.

"Good..."

The boy followed his friends, leaving me with the girl. She glared at me.

"How could you let push you around?" She directed her anger at me.

"I-I'm sorry..."

"No... Just stop."

"Uh... I'm Marco...."

"Cool..." she turns and started to walk away.

"Wait!.... Uh.... What's your name....?"

"Doesn't matter... I'm moving after school. We won't see each other again."

My spirits dropped then and there. I thought she could be my friend, but nope! Life had to go screw up and put me through another 3 years of bullying.
