Ch. 1 School

I couldn't move and I'll I could see was white. My arms are strapped securely to my chest so I couldn't move. The bright light was blinding my lifeless hazel eyes as I stood in the small cell thoughtlessly staring at the white puffy wall. Soundlessly the door opened and and a deep voice spoke "I haven't seen you since you got here." I slowly felt myself falling into darkness.

BRING BRIN- I slammed my hand on my alarm clock to stop the annoying blaring sound. "Fuck, what time is it" I mumbled, checking my phone. The screen was really bright and blinded me for a second. When I got my vision back the home screen said it was 5:30 "don't you just
love high school" I mumbled to myself. Finally I got up after I gave myself a pep talk to get out of bed I put my long brown hair into a bun and went into the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and did my makeup. I walked back into my room and went to my walk in closet to pick an outfit. I ended  up wearing high wasted leather pants a dark grey crop top and black vans. I grabbed my backpack and walked out of my room and headed downstairs. When I got to the kitchen I poured myself a bowl of rice crispy cereal (don't judge me there good!) and made myself a cup of coffee. Im early today which doesn't happen often so I just check my social media and finish my cereal. A few minutes later I hear two pairs of feet pounding against the floor upstairs. "Great dumb and dumber finally woke up." I muttered sarcastically at the idiots I call my brothers trying not too be late. They came running downstairs and started yelling at me. "Maria why the hell didn't you wake us up!" Sam cursed. "Yeah it seems like you've been up for a while now and you didn't have the decency to wake us up?"Greyson scowled. "I thought you guys loved me?" I said putting on a pout. "Aw Maria I do love you because you gave me your cereal this morning." Sam smirked "What are you talking about I'm eating my cere- SAM I SWEAR TO GOD GIVE ME MY FOOD BACK OR I WILL NOT HESITATE TO CHOP YOUR BALLS OFF."I screamed. As I turned to yell at Sam ,Greyson grabbed my coffee of of the island counter top and started to chug it" GREYSON GIVE IT BACK YOU LITTLE DIPSHIT" I yelled. Quickly Sam grabbed his Keys and Greyson followed his as they ran to there cars with my breakfast. "Remind me never to eat around them" I mumbled while I grabbed my self a snack bar and my Keys. I headed out to my beloved black mustang an climbed in. I turned the radio on as I started the car up and the song "girls"  by the 1975 came on. "YES I LOVE THIS SONG" i screamed. As the music started playing I sang along -"bite your face to spite your nose
17 and a half years old
I'm worrying about my brother finding out

I said "No!" I tapped my fingers on the swearing wheels to the beat.

They're just girls" I finished as I pulled up to the high school. I turned of the ignition and hopped out of the car and strode into school. I get a few cat calls as I try to find my friend group but I just flip them off and keep walking. Finally after going to my locker and searching the halls through the sea of people I find my friends by the track. I see my brothers ,their friends , and my best friend Alex under Sam's arm who's eyes are scanning the crowd for someone. When her eyes land on me she looks relived and let's go of Sam to walk over to me. "Hey Alex you look pleased to see me for once" I say laughing. "Yeah well you try being the only girl standing with a group teenage boys talking about football!" She laughed. She ran over and kissed Sam goodbye then walked with me to first period.
