I haven't been to work in three days. As a matter of fact I haven't left this room in three days. I'm currently staying in a hotel because I can't exactly go home. I don't have a home anymore. My home was with Brett, since we're over I have nowhere to go. It was just me and my mom growing up, and I can't go live with her and her new flavor of the week.
My dad left when I was a kid, so I honestly couldn't point him out in a line up. I don't really have anyone else besides my best friends, Katherine and Lucky. Due to the fact of Katherine just getting engaged and Lucky having a one bedroom apartment that he sometimes shares with his girlfriend of the week, I can't really ask to stay with either of them. That means I'm stuck moping in this tiny hotel room until I come up with a plan. My phone has been constantly ringing and is completely full of voicemails from my best friends, Brett, and work. My best friends won't give up especially after I told them what happened,and I know that if I don't show up to work soon they'll probably fire me, but I can't bring myself to get dressed and go. As for Brett, he can go to hell.
I sit thinking of a game plan about my living situation for a while, but soon doze off into a deep sleep.
I awaken from my dreams of Jimmy Choo's and YSL handbags only to find someone banging at my room door. I groan feeling groggy from sleep.
"WHATTT?" I yell out. No one responds, but the banging continues. I get up and go to the door.
"Ugh, who the hell is banging on my door like this?" I say as I fling the door open. On the other side staring back at me with knowing eyes stands Katherine and Lucky.
"Gosh, you two sure do know how to wake a person up. How the hell did you find me anyhow?" I say grouchily.
" Elysia Monae Knox, did you really think your best friends in the whole world wouldn't locate you? You're such a silly girl." Katherine says like the smartass she is.
"As the saying goes you can run, but you can't hide." Lucky says after her with a grin playing at his lips.
" I can always try to though, what are you two here for anyways?" I ask.
"We're here to cheer you up of course silly." She says happily. See that's the thing about Katherine, she was always happy. We met in the 10th grade even then she was happier than the rest of us kids, who were only complaining about the school work at that point in time. While all the other kids were stressing about how they would earn back the credits we missed out on 9th grade year, she was busy laughing and throwing parties. She has always been one of the only people I turn to for a good cheering up session. She always brightens the room even on the darkest days, and her smartass comments are only a small part included in the full package. She's almost "6'0ft" where as I am only 5'6. You can probably infer that it's a pretty big package by now right? She's super gorgeous, like model material, with dark brown pixie styled hair,creamy brown skin, and brown eyes that capture almost every guys attention when she looks their way. Not because of their color, but how much emotion they have in them. One look from her on a good day and even if you're day was all but shit, you'll want to smile. She has curves but not too many and not too little, white teeth that are almost perfect, and legs to die for, but if you ask her she'll only tell you all her flaws. She'll tell you how her feet are way too big at a size 11 or how she doesn't have perfectly toned skin (which is a lie), but she's still way too beautiful for her own good.
Lucky on the other hand is towering over us both at 6'4. He's sexy as hell and doesn't he know it, because he has a new girlfriend every week who just wants to flaunt him in front of her friends. He has these vibrant grey eyes, broad shoulders,hair that's cropped short, and he's a total flirt. He comes from a rich family, but they have issues that need working out. According to him his family is and I quote, " a deceiving, manipulative, and controlling bunch of money-hungry asswipes." He won't take any of his family's money,and has worked for everything he has, which only makes him more attractive. Of course, he uses that to his advantage with the ladies, but although he's a player, he'd never come on to Katherine or me in that way. That's how we all stay so close.
"Hellooo, Lysa" Katherine says snapping me out of my thoughts.
"What, go ahead, you were saying?" .
"Well,I was telling you to go get dressed,"she says.
"Get dressed for what?"
"We're going out of course, you crazy person." Kat says cheerfully.
"Yeah, not going to happen. I'm not going anywhere. You two go without me." I say quickly.
"But Lysa you have to go how am I supposed to get hot girls if you're not there to say good things about me." Lucky says as he pouts.
"You'll do fine without me, luckster."I say as I reach and pat his shoulder.
"I won't take no for an answer." Katherine says.
"Well you're gonna have to take it today, because I'm not going."
"Come on Lysa, it'll take your mind off things." Lucky says.
"There's nothing to take my mind off of."
"Elysia, stop playing like you're not hurt, hell I'd be hurt if my fiancé cheated on me with some slut too." Katherine says knowingly.
"I'm not hurt, I'm as fine and dandy as always."
"Oh, sweetheart you know it's okay to let your feelings show sometimes. You always try to be so strong, but truth is its okay to fall to your knees sometimes. Me and Luck will always be here to pick you back up." She says as she grabs me into a hug then pulls Lucky into the hug also. I break down instantly, she knows me like a book.
"It hurts so bad guys, every time I think about it my chest starts to hurt again. Like my heart's being pulled out of my chest."
"I know sweetie. It's called heartbreak, but your stronger then most people. You'll get through this, especially with us by your side." She says with a sad smile.
"Yeah, and that asshole will be sorry after he realizes what he lost. We'll make sure he knows just exactly what he's lost too." Lucky says with a devious smirk.
"I love you guys."
"We love you too." They say together.
"Now come on, let's get you dressed." Says Kat.
"Yeah, I guess a little clubbing may be just what I need to get back into the swing of things." I say as we head into my room.

Hey all my readers out there! I know I don't update a lot barely any at all, but I usually just don't have a lot of motivation to write. I love books but it's different writing one! I have all these ideas in my head but I hate struggling to type it on my phone! It gives me thumb cramps. >:( On another note though I'll try to update more!
