Chapter: 2

Mike’s POV                       

Age 16: I go to Jupiter high and I have the biggest crush on Sarah Lee… I have now for 5 consecutive years

She and her best friend Athena along with all their other friends were the most popular girls in school. Personally there is just something about Sarah that gets me going crazy!, but the other girls are all equally as beautiful.

I know I am not the best looking but surely she can see through my braces, glasses and signature stained shirt. I am sorry I don’t look like every other guy in the school that likes her, sure they all catch her eye but I know for sure I have more personality in my pinkie finger than they do in their entire body.

Age 18: I still am head over heels for Sarah but it doesn’t help that she has been in an on and off relationship with one of the ‘hottest’ guys in school since she has been 17, his name was Luke… Luke Weasels. He is tall, built, green eyes like mine, extremely tanned, dark brown hair and let’s nobody forget his favourite trait. He is a surfer, which all the girls seem to love and fall for, I should definitely consider chilling there and getting tanned and used to the beach for Sarah… she would love me!

I already started maturing for her in ways she never really seemed to notice but this year she would! Summer would come and I would show it off to her and she would dump that loser! I despised him so much for stealing her heart! And also breaking it several times. He was an inconsiderate jerk that flirted and hooked up with many girls at a time while being with Sarah but because they were so good together and their peers kind of forced them to be the perfect couple he always ran back to her after her hours of crying and begging.

She didn’t look good begging but I am sure one day I will think otherwise when she is begging to… me.

Age 19: I started hitting the gym every day since I realised girls wouldn’t think you were hot if you had a pot belly even if it did look like a beer belly (which I knew it wasn’t, but I had to lie). Eventually I was fit I only wore contacts and braces were taken care of about 2 years ago now. I was really peaking and I am sure Sarah will admire what I have done for her one day when I admit to her my life’s accomplishment.

It was finally summer time to relax, tan and admit my love for Sarah Lee. This was going to be an amazing summer I could just feel it!

We were at the beach Sarah was of coarse with Athena and Luke and a few of her other girlfriends were there to just dancing seductively not really knowing it to what sounded like the best music. I was so close… about 7.5426 steps away (did I forget to mention I was a nerd… yeah I never quite got rid of that). And then my phone rang, it was a message that read: honey. Please come home it is urgent. Mom xx
