Maya's POV

Today is Monday.
The Matthews Family and I talked about Adopting me.
I had to go with my Grandparents to Ohio til the Judge tells me if I can be an official family member at the Matthews.

Damn I hope everything will work out I can't stand my Grandparents.
They so Rude.
Okay My Grandma is Rude.
My Grandpa is okay.
I don't get how he can stand her.

It's 8.30 a.m. and we are all sitting in the LivingRoom.
Riley and Mr.Matthews are already in School but we said our Goodbye's earlier in the Morning.

My Grandpa said in a soft voice:
"I think we should go now It's a long drive".

I stood up and hugged Topanga and Auggie. I can't believe that I have to live for a little While that far away from my Best Friend.

I already miss Riley like Crazy.
We were awake the Whole night just to talk. We were watching some Movies and talked about the Future.
We already planned to go to the same College.

My Grandpa grabbed my suitcases and went out the Door. My Grandma followed him without even saying Goodbye to Topanga.

"You are going soon to live here Maya I promise" Said Topanga and Hugged me for the last Time.

"Goodbye Topanga".

"Goodbye Maya".

That's it. I walked out of the Apartment building and sat down in my Grandparents Car.
They don't even let me say Goodbye to Farkle.

We were driving for an hour When we stopped at a Dinner to get Breakfast.

I decided to make a Video for my friends.
I started Talking:

"Hey guys what's up.
So I'm already on my way to Ohio and I'm so Sorry that I couldn't say Goodbye to You Farkle.
My Grandma is freaking me out.
I hope you 2 will be okay for the next few Weeks and tell me if there is something New about Lucas.
Everything is Crazy right now huh?
Anyways I'll talk to you guys soon love you".

I Texted the video to our Group Chat.
Damn Lucas was still in it.
I Wonder if he still has his Phone.
I can't believe that I can't help Riley with the Whole Lucas Situation.

At least she has Farkle.
I texted Farkle:
"Please keep an eye on Riley.
She's still freaking out about the Lucas thing and so do I".

I went Inside the Dinner and sat down next to my Grandpa.
We ate some Waffles with whipped cream.
I felt Tears coming up in my eyes.
I tried not to cry.
I already miss the Matthews Family.

After Dinner we continued driving.
We were on a Bridge When something happened.
Cars started to Crash into other Cars.
"Holy shit" I thought.
My Grandma tried to avoid the Cars but she lost controll over her Car and we Fell of the Bridge into the Water.

This Can't be real. It can't be.
I'm Not ready to go.
We were in the Water.
"Grandma, Grandpa take your seat bells ofg GO.
We need to get out of here".
My Grandpa took his seatbell off but my Grandma didn't move.
My Grandpa looked at her and saw that she fast bleeding a Lot on her forehead.
He checked her Pulse and he started crying.

She's dead.

"Okay Grandpa we need to get out of here do you understand me?".

He still cried.

"GRANDPA IF WE DON'T GET OUT OF THIS CAR THEN WE'RE GOING TO DIE".

This Time he looked at me.
The Car was almost completly under
Water from the Inside.
I tried to open the Door on my side but she didn't move at all.

Grandpa tried to open the Door and it opened Quickly.
I took a deep breath and looked for the last time at my Grandma.
My Grandpa started to Swim.

I went out of the Car and started swimming too.
We were almost at the ground.
I saw that my Grandpa was starting swimming slowly.
I think he's out of air.
He's Old he can't Swim that long under Water.

I started swimming faster towards him to get him.
I grabbed him by his Hands and took him with me.
This Whole thing was too much.
I was getting out of air too.

I couldn't see clear anymore.
It wasn't that far anymore.
We were almost out of the Water.
I looked at my Grandpa.
He blacked out.

I Need to get him out of the Water or he is going to die.

I finally Made it and started breathing heavily.

People were standing on the street next to the Water to watch the huge Crash.

"HELP. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP".

I tried to drag my Grandpa out of the Water but he's to heavy for me.
I was already exhausted.
A man came Quickly into the Water and helped me.

We were on the street now and a woman who is a doctor did First aid on my Grandpa.

"Are you okay? What happened with you two?" Asked me the Man Who helped us.

"I don't know the Cars started crashing into each other and my Grandma lost controll over the Car and we dropped into the Water and she-she is Dead.
Is my Grandpa going to be okay?" I Said in a shaky voice.

I was completly under shock.

My Grandpa coughed.
He's alive.

I sat next to him and hugged him.

"Thank you" I told the Man and the Woman.

I can't believe that all of this is happening to me.

Some Cars from the Hospital drove to the Bridge and one of them took my Grandpa and me with them.

The doctors at the Hospital checked everything on me.
I was okay.

But my Grandpa needs to Rest.
This Whole thing was too much for him.

I went to the hallway to find a telephone.

I Found one and called the Matthews family.

"Hello?" Said Topanga as she answered my Call.

"Topanga its me Maya. We we had an Accident. They was a huge Car Crash at a Bridge and we dropped into the Water and my Grandma is Dead but my Grandpa and I survived and I Don't know what do to".

That was it. I started crying and crying.

"Maya omg are you okay?
Where are you we are coming to you".

I told her where I was and headed back to my Grandpa ' s Room and waited.
