"Oh Ya, I recon that day, he silently packed up his things gave us a note that said 'Im off to join the Brotherhood of Evil, blah blah blah. " Billy numerous said mocking himself with his hands.

"Never said goodbye." Mammoth said with his shoulders hunched over.

" You halfwit he never uttered a single word to us... never." Gizmo said slapping Mammoth on the back of his head.

"Still I miss him."

" He is in a better place now, so get over it you sniveling baby."

" Why are you here?" starfire asked annoyed with the boys actions.

" isn't it obvious?" Seymour exasperated showing his hands to look around. " We are shopping."

" Don't you mean stealing?" Jinx cut in pointing a finger at them.

"No" Seymour said.

"nuhna " Mammoth mumbled .

" Nope" Gizmo uttered

" Not yet" Billy Numerous said.

Everyone looked at him with either annoyance, anger, disappointment or realization .

" Dude! You weren't supposed to tell them that!" Seymour screamed.

"what?'' Billy lifted his hands all innocently , "we just got here.''

" and I don't care , if I find one dust bunny out of place so help me barthanarg I will hunt you down." Starfire said with authority in her voice.

"us here is beside the point, so Jinx why are you back in town?" Gizmo asked. Brushing off starfires comment .

" None of your wax bees." Starfire snapped.

" I said let Jinx speak for herself" Gizmo yelled in Starfire's face.

Jinx who realized she was standing around like a fool spoke up. " No its ok Star, ill take it from here." Starfire backed off to let Jinx talk.

"you need to know nothing more than I'm on a mission, and will be leaving soon. Nothing more Nothing less."

" Oh come off with it Jinx , tell us the details." Gizmo said looking intrigued.

" ya like were is your wing head boyfriend huh?'' Mammoth said in a mock tone. Seymour just huffed.

" he's not here at the moment."

" yaw how's life going you two timing louse.'' Billy said with poison in his voice.

" What Did you JUST CALL ME!" Jinx bellowed .

" I said H-mmmmmm" Seymour put his hand over Billy's mouth to keep him quiet . Billy noticed Jinx's eyes all lit up and shoulders back, like a cat waiting to strike. He found it in his best interest to keep quiet.

" what this bozo is trying to say is... Were is Kid Flash?" Gizmo answered for Billy.

" Back at the tower." Jinx simply said calming down. It wasn't a total lie , just not the whole truth either.

" He just left you here?" Seymour asked.

" Not exactly " Jinx replied.

" he always watches you over his shoulder, so if he's not here than who's going to protect you?"mammoth asked scratching his head.

" last time I checked I can take care of myself."

" I know , but do you miss it."

" miss what?"

" Doing crime ?"

" HELL NO." Jinx snapped " I am perfectly happy were I am now."

"then how come you look so sad?" Gizmo inquired .

" Im not sad ." Jinx said dodging the question.

" I know you too well jinx what is wrong with you."

Seymour stepped up to Jinx with a serious look in his eye. " Jinx... Did Kid flash do something to you?"

" what NO! HE WOULD NEVE-"

" then why are you sad?'' Gizmo asked again.

Jinx turned away and through her hands in the air. "Im not going to answer these questions."

"Then he did hurt you?"

"NO!"

" then why do you-"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Jinx through her hands down and caused a few tables to go flying else were, scaring a few teenagers in the process.

" im not going to answer so just LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" starfire put a hand on her friends shoulder. Jinx was breathing hard trying to stay steady. Tears welling up in the edges of her eyes.

"I am going to take her take her back to the tower now." Starfire faced the boys her eyes glowing green ." And remember One thing missing and I will crush you like a grape!"

The boys scurried away in fear. All except Mammoth who looked at Jinx with sorrow.

" Look Jinx... If you need a place to come to, you know were to go." Mammoth offered. Jinx just sank down father . From far off you could hear Gizmo shout .

"MAMMOTH GET YOUR RUMP OVER HERE NOW!"

Starfire turned her attention back to her stressed friend. " I think its best that we go back now." Jinx just nodded. Then to two girls walked back to Titans tower.
