"And why Not?" Starfire asked fallowing her.

" BECAUSE IM JUST NOT!" Jinx snapped back , her eyes slightly glowing. Starfire looked down with sadness in her green eyes. " Oh Star" Jinx started to say her eyes softening , " look I'm sorry I'm just really stressed out right now."

Starfire looked up. " That's why I've come to wake you."

"and why is that?"

" Because I know what you are going through , and I know getting your mind off of things will most certainly help. " The red headed alien said with a smile, Jinx couldn't help but grin at her.

" What did you have in mind?" she asked.

" nothing helps better then to get away from the place that gives you stress,"

"I'm listening" Jinx rolled her hand in a ' go on' motion.

" Would you join me today to get out and go " she did air quotes with her fingers, " to the mall of shopping?"

Jinx thought about it, she must of looked terrible , eyes all puffy, hair a rats nest, she must have had stress pimples with all that was going on. It would have been easier just to say no and wither in her own sorrow, but what was the point in that? Just looking at Starfire's hopeful face make the choose a whole lot harder. But Star was right , she needed to get away from all the stress and pain for a while. Her friend was just trying to help her out and she was goanna say no? She really needed this, now more than ever. Star was giving her the puppy dog eyes when she made her choice.

" Alright ill go." Starfire jumped up and clapped her hands.

"Oh goody , we will have a lot of fun , and have girl time, and we can get done the manicure of the nails , and get facials, and-"

Jinx put a finger to Starfires lips to shut her up. " I said I would go , and believe me Star I would love to do all those things , but lets take this one step at a time, okay?"

"Okay!" Starfire was jumping with happiness.

" Give me 30 minutes to get ready then we can go." Jinx walked to her room, leaving starfire to go get ready too.

Jinx took a quick shower, blow dried her hair and brushed it out with a comb to make it nice and soft. She then put on a sexy dark purple crop top that showed of her cleavage in all the right places, she added a black leather jacket with zippers to add her badass flare. She then put on a lighter purple high wasted skirt that went a little past her thighs, with gray tights and black boots that went to her knees . she pulled her bangs back and clipped them up, giving them a high rise look. She applied her make up, she then added her black choker necklace with the purple pendent with mating stud earrings. Jinx struck a pose in the mirror , just for good measure. And walked out of the room , holding her self with pride on her looks. Wally has told her more than once that she was sexy. And now she felt the need to show herself off. She looked like a girl who could rule the world , and its sad that she did not feel the same way she looked.

She walked down the hall, her hip's swinging a little, messing with the straps on her black purse as she passed the sick bay. She stopped and turned to the door she was almost tempted to knock and walk in, but she knew more than likely she would cry again. She needed to be the strong one while he recovered , and if the only way to be strong at the moment , was not to be around him.

With a heavy heart she continued on. When she reached the main hall Starfire was clearly waiting , anxiously messing with anything she could get her hands on. Jinx's Jaw dropped as she looked over her friend. Starfire looked great! No not great, not even drop dead gorgeous , no she looked strait out of this world.
