"David stop I swear she won't do it again," I pleaded for the sake of my mama life.

My mama was an 'escort' and she was accused of not paying David, her pimp what she owed.

"Naw... This. Bitch. Needs. To. Learn." He spat within every lick he through. "Now... Imma ask one more time. Kim, Where the fuck my money at?"

I looked at my mama with teary eyes, holding Tj, my baby brother in my arms hoping she would answer him.

"I... I spent it." She built up the courage to say.

In one swift moved, David pulled out his gun and mumbled, "I should kill yo bitch ass..."

"No..." I yelled, scaring Tj making him cry. He was just 9 months so he didn't know what was going on. I ran to my room with Tj in my arms, looking for my emergency stash.

"100... 20... 40... 60... 80..." I counted out nervously till I got to 480.

I Quickly ran back to the living room and David still had his gun pulled while my mother small helpless frame layed balled up. "480. Here it go. All right here. Count it if you wanna. Just please... She's all we got." I broke down looking from my mother to brother, kissing him.

"Iight bitch... This is for starters. Pull this shit again and you done with... You hear me?"

"Yes sir," my mama whimpered.

"I'm sorry Titi. I really am, but clean her up I need her on St. Louis street in 2 days." He stated while motioning to open the front door.

I didn't have faith in my voice, so I just nodded.

I can not believe I had to use some of my emergency money I been saving up for a year now. That was my way out of this suck ass place.

I glanced at my mother with an evil glare in my eyes, stepping over her to go feed Tj.
