Dean Winchester was sitting in his cold dark room in the bunker. There were opened books all over the place, empty coffee mugs covering his bedside table.

It's been weeks since he last saw Cas. Or Lucifer. This whole thing was super confusing and his head would start hurting like hell every time he'd think of the blue eyed angel.

During this period Sam went on a few hunts with Baby, but Dean would stay, buried in papers and trying to find a way to get Lucifer out of his angel.

He's always taken Cas for granted, but now that he'd lost him, he realised how much he needs him.

Knock.

"Yeah?"

"Dean.", Sam's concerned face popped into the room. "It's been weeks since you haven't gotten out, man. Are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine, Sam."

"We'll save Cas. I promise. That's our top priority right now and I give you my word, I'll get Lucifer out of him at all costs."

"I know. I'm just...", Dean's voice trembled despite his deadpan expression. "I wonder where I did wrong. What would make you say yes to the freaking Satan?!"

"Lucifer's tricky and sharp. He can use your weaknesses against you. The bastard's good, trust me."

"But Cas doesn't have any weaknesses Sammy. He's an angel, goddammit!"

"You're his weakness. Ever since he fell-"

"Okay enough. I'll go get some fresh air."

Dean stood up, pushing his younger brother away and grabbing his jacket.

"Call me if anything happens."

"Yeah."

Dean stormed through the bunker and in moments, he was outside, starting the Impala's engine. The calming roar of his Baby filled his ears and he turned the radio on.

When you go,
Would you even turn to say
"I don't love you, like I did
Yesterday..."

Dean turned the radio off, grunting. Every song he heard reminded him of Cas. He pulled out of the parking area in front of the bunker and drove.

He didn't know where he was going, but he needed to get away from Sam, from all the books in his room, from everything.

As Dean was driving down an empty road, the sun went down and for a second he thought he saw Cas staring at him with his big blue eyes, all covered in blood.

The hunter jumped slightly and stopped the car, going out and looking around. Nothing.

Of course Castiel wouldn't be here, he was seeing things now. Awesome. Dean needed to get back home as soon as possible.

Then came the horrible ringing in his ears. Dean covered his head, falling to the hard ground. The sound was extremely high and disturbing and the Winchester couldn't gather the strength to get inside his car and drive the hell away from that awful place.

That's when the ringing started to sound like words.

"Dean. Dean, do you understand me? I need you to come in Texas, I don't know what happened. I feel like a part of my memory has been removed. Please, Dean. I need you. Come."

And then it stopped. Dean got back on his feet and looked around in disbelief. Was that Cas who just spoke? His surroundings looked normal, everything was the same.

The hunter sat in the driver's seat and turned around, heading to the bunker with a crazy but great idea.
