I felt the sweat run down my face as I ran another lap around the gym. Don't give up now, I told my body, but I was already exautsted from just two laps. Most of the other guys can sprint eight laps without even breaking a sweat. Well, this is a sports school, after all. I don't know why they still kept me here. I mean, look at me, I'm a faliure, the laugh of the school. Well, let me tell you, I wasn't always like this.

Last year, when coming back from some orchestrial concert my mom made me go to, we were involved in a car accident.

My mom and I got out of the theatre, and because we took the bus there, we didn't exactly have a ride home. And the buses were closed by then. So we decided to take a taxi. There are plenty of taxis in our area, so it didn't take long to find a empty one.

"Where are you going?" The driver asked us. I got a glimpse of him. He had dark brown hair, a little longer than mine, almost black. I didn't see his eyes, or the expression on his face, and I didn't know why, but I had a bad feeling about this. I didn't say anything, cause I knew my mom would just think I was pranking her.

I had a really bad feeling this time though. And when I say that, usually something really bad happens. I remember the time we were at the airport when I was five, and I didn't want to go on the plane because my gut was telling me not to. My mom struggled with me for about two minutes, until I was finally forced to go on the plane because everyone else was getting restless.

Just as I stepped on the loading platform, it started hailing. Really hard. Like that was the worst storm that I have ever seen. If I hadn't slowed us down, I think the plane would have crashed, and everyone on the flight would be dead by now.

My mom, of course, didn't beleive in those things. She's a teacher, and doesn't beleive in anything but science. So I didn't say anything.

We passed a few cross sections and came to a red light. But instead of stopping, the dark haired driver just kept on going. I was about to tell him that he was supposed to stop, but I didn't even have the time to. The car skitted as it swerved around passing cars, and suddenly, all I could see was a red van flying towards us, before I passed out...
