(Y/N)'s POV
You woke up in a cold sweat.
Was it a bad dream?
No.
Was it a good dream?
You suppose.
Did it scare you?
Yes.
Why did it scare you? Well, the dream you had had was you and your family having a good time at the dinner table, laughing at anonymous jokes and stories of your day. Every thing was blissfully normal. Thats what scared you.
Nothing in your life was normal, your mother regarded you as nothing, your brother hated you, and your father abused you for simply being alive.
Nothing in your life would ever be so happy. You looked down and sighed, wishing you had been born to another family who did apreciate you. You shrugged it off and smiled.
"Not like I can be in a normal life, so why think it?" you said, your smile growing bigger.
You jumped out of bed, walking to the bathroom. You undressed, looking in the mirror. You sighed. Nothing really jumped out at you, you'd never think of yourself pretty, sense no one ever told you so.
You flashed your self a reassuring smile, slightly cringing at the thought of having to reasure yourself and so... sadly. You shook your head and turned the nob, running the water for a quick shower.
After you got out, you quickly dressed yourself. Your clothes were dark but had its own little perk of creativeness, sense you wrote on them with whte sharpie saying "flipping amazing". You chuckled to yourself reading it in the mirror. You quickly ran your hairbrush through your hair and grabbed your book bag. You walked down the stairs and found your brother eating breakfast. You flashed him a brigh smile and he scoffed. Your smile faltered a little but it remained there. You went to the kitchen to grab a peice of toast for breakfast, only to receive a scowl from your father. You decided to put it back, not wanting to cause anything bad to happen right before school.
You sighed as you opened the door outside for the school bus. You waited by the corner with your brother boredly.
"So did you have any good dreams last night?" You asked him, your usual smile plastered on your face.
Surprisingly he returned the smile. "Yes actually, I did," He responded.
Your brother usually ignored you so this surprised you. You decided to keep up the conversation.
"What was it about?" You asked. You slightly regretted it when you saw his smile become twisted.
"This!" He yelled out while pushing you infront of the bus. Your eyes widened in shock.
Everything was like it were in slow motion. You staired hard at your brother as he was laughing.
Suddenly everything stopped. all there was was a quick pain in your side. You had never felt anything more painfull in your life. Though it hurt like heck, It was over in seconds because everything went dark.
***
You sprung up in shock, looking around yourself. You instantly reconized it as the street you were pushed in.
It took you a moment to remember what had happened. Your brother had pushed you into the street where a bus ran over you. You slowly looked down at your side. It was bleeding harshly. You hadnt felt it then, but you surely did now.
You screamed out in pain...
But nobody came.
You continued to yell out and scream, hoping someone would come.
But no one did.
You finally gave up, realizing no one heared you, and if they did, they didnt care. You slowly got up, Grimicing from the pain. You decided to ignore it.
For a moment, you felt hopeless. You saw nothing that would help you.
But then you looked over and saw Mount Ebott. You didnt know why, but something called out to you.
Help will be found there.
You couldent explain it. You just felt it.
You slowly walked there, slowly filling up with hope, not only that but DETERMINATION.
After a while, you reached the top. You looked around.
Nothing.
You felt defeated, like this were the end. You let out a sob, not like anyone heard you. You thought you were about to die a worthless life. There were so many things you didnt do, so many things you couldent do, and there were so many things...
Taken away from you.
You clenched your fist in anger.
It cant end like this. Not yet. You looked up, completely filled with DETERMINATION.
You took a step forward, ready to change everything...
Oh things WERE going to change...
Just not the way you expected.
Your determination disapeared after you felt no ground under your step.
It was completely replaced with fear. You didnt realize until now. You were falling.
***
You opened your eyes and looked around.
"Where am I...?" You asked yourself as you looked around yourself. It was dark, so dark you could'nt see your own hand three inches away from your face. You decided to look down. You saw golden flowers.
'must have cussioned my fall...' you thought to yourself.
You got up and felt the unbearable pain in yourside and grimaced. Although it was super painfull, you walked ahead.
You stopped in front of a... Smiling flower?
"Howdy! Im flowey! Flowey the Flower!" He said.
Something about him made you nervous...
