1 - Paris

Your POV

"So why Paris?" I asked.

"Why not Paris?" My dad asked back to me. We were driving from the car shop to our house. I stared out the window. I cod see the beautiful, tall Eiffel tower behind all the buildings.

"Well, I don't know. It's not that I don't like it and all but it's so far away." I complained.

"Well hey. Living in a different country can be fun. You get to see new things you haven't seen before. And luckily you took those French lessons, right?" My dad smiled, trying to lighten up the mood.

I shrugged. "I guess so."

We got to our empty home and parked on the curb in front of the house. I sat in the seat still just staring out the window.

"Come on (y/n). Let's go see inside." My dad nodded his head out to the house. I sighed and unbuckled my seatbelt. I got out the car and stared at the house.

I followed my dad inside and went searching for my room. I found a white wall room with a balcony and a great view of the Eiffel tower. I dropped my bag in awe. You know what, maybe living in Paris won't be that bad.

I stood out on the balcony enjoying the nice breeze. The smell of deliciously smelling croissants from bakeries below danced through the air. The view of the tower stood proud and tall in my sight.

As the sky got darker, the lights made it's way up the tower like Christmas lights.

"(Y/n)! Time for dinner! Where do you want to eat?" My dad called. I looked at the time and realized I have been here for over an hour.

"Any burger places?" I joked. I grabbed my bag from the floor where I dropped it earlier.

"Actually, yeah. 'East Side Burgers'." He added.

"I was joking but okay." We laughed as we grabbed our jackets and left out the door.
