SIXTEEN
- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -
The next morning I was in a great mood, I don't know why but I had a feeling it was because I had a date with Sean this evening. My parents were back from their vacation and it was pretty much a regular morning for me.
I had finished my breakfast a few minutes ago and was getting ready to head over to the mall to hand in my application to Garage. I grabbed my bag with my phone, and my keys.
"Bye Mom! I'll be back soon!" I called out.
"Bye honey! Be safe!"
I walked out the door and went over to my car, climbing in and starting up the engine. I backed out of the driveway and drove off to Bayshore.

I went up the escalator to the third floor, looking around for the store, when I finally spotted it. A smile grew to my face as I walked in and up to the girl at the front desk.
"Hi." The girl greeted.
"Hi, I'm Hala and I saw that you were hiring people, so I have my application to hand in right here." I handed my application to her with a big grin. She smiled gratefully.
"Thank you, well my name is Jessica but you can call me Jess or Jessie," She said as we shook hands. "Okay, I'll read up your application tonight and I'll call you, and tell if you got the job or not."
I nodded. "Sounds good to me." I turned around and began to walk out the store.
"Have a nice day!"
I gave her a small smile. "You too!" I left the store and decided I would visit Sean at work. I went all the way back to the first floor and into the Apple Store.
Looking all around the store, I finally spotted him. He was helping a customer with the iPhones, so I patiently waited for him by keeping myself occupied with playing a game on one of the iPad's. I did this every time I came in here.
"Hala?" I turned around to come face to face with Sean.
I grinned. "Hi there." He smiled and pulled me into a hug. His arms wrapped around my waist tightly as he pulled me closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck, inhaling his cologne. His embrace was warm and welcoming. I smiled as I snuggled into his chest.
"What are you doing here so early?" He asked, still holding onto me.
"I had to hand in my application."
I felt him smile. "Oh yeah, I really hope you get the job."
"And why's that?" I asked.
He leaned down to my ear and whispered. "Because I'd get to see you all the time."
I felt my cheeks burn and I hid my face in his chest. He laughed. "Aw is Hala blushing?" I can already tell he was smirking.
"Shut up." I mumbled. He laughed once again. I pulled away and looked up at him.
"You," I poked my finger at his chest. "Should get back to work."
He chuckled. "Alright, I'll see you tonight." He kissed me on the cheek, and gave a wink.
The same wink he had given me the first time we met. I felt my heart skip a beat. Literally.
I left the store and began to walk over to the exit but stopped, when an idea struck my mind.
Since I was already here, why not buy an outfit for tonight. Genius Hala, GENIUS. I began my journey to find a store that had nice dresses but weren't full on fancy.
