I'm not made out of money, and usually I rather save any money I get rather then spending it. That's the only reason I had so much money, the interest rates may be low but when you start off with a thousand dollars an let it grow, you can become an instant 10,000 naire. Recently though I used over a thousand to build a TARDIS for my wattpad pal STARS. I don't care though, it was well worth it!

Today however I wasn't planning on spending that much money, this time I was visiting a friend who lived in the same state as I. Madison, one of my newest awesomeness friends on wattpad had a fair going on near her town so decided to drop by and hang out with her. Fairs are like some of the greatest places to go if you wan to have a great time with a group of your friends. There was such much to do! Plus it wouldn't cost me hundreds of dollars so my wallet is happy about that.

2 1/2 hours later and I finally arrived. Though the only problem was I had no idea where madison was at XDD this wasn't really an arranged meeting, kinda like a "SURPRISE! hey I'm Cass from wattpad let's go have fun now ~" thing. I really needed to stop coming uninvited, not a very good impression on anyone's parents or protective siblings if they had any. Oh well I'll just wing it like I normally do. After parking my car and making sure it was sealed shut, I walk into the fair.

The place was already bustling with life, and the atmosphere was filled tithe brink of the rim with happiness. Such a loving atmosphere I wish I could bath in all day everyday. There was just one thing that bothered me, the smell. That's probably the number one reason why I hate the country life, that horrible ratchet smell that followed you everywhere and burns your nostrils. I can handle anything else, just not that smell. I however, wasn't going to let some stupid smell ruin my fun with my friend... As soon as I find her that is. The crowd was thick and nearly condense to the point where even I had a hard time surfing through the crowd. I prayed that it wasn't like this through the fairgrounds. I entered into the crowd, politely saying excuse me and trying my hardest not to elbow anyone at there sides. I navigated my way trough the crowd, and finally I had some room to deaths in fresh air.

"Ok now, where to start looking" I muttered to myself as I took a quick glance at my surroundings hoping to spot her. It had then dawned on me that Madison had no idea what I even looked like, let alone that I was coming. Yeah I was brilliant alright... I let out a sigh and began walking around, hoping somehow to find her in this massive carnival. I roamed around the booths, I did remember her telling me she worked at one of these. As I was continuing my search for my friend, my stomach roared up at me, demanding I fed it immediately.

"Just hang in there Mr. Tummy..." I whispered to myself still attempting to locate Madison. My stomach hover, was not a very patient being. It's growls grew louder with it's growing America at me for not eating. It was really starting to get annoying very fast. I let out a sigh and decided to stop to fuel up on some food before resuming my search. There was plenty to eat at a fair so finding food wouldn't be too difficult. I looked over to my left, and lord behold it's a pie eating contest. Now, I may just weigh about 84 pounds even though I'm 18 but I know I can out eat any fat man in the world. I think it's about time I'd prove it.

I sprinted like a madman towards the contest table, just as the announcer had said, "last call for contestants". Besides me there were only three other guys who were my competition. None of them were husky nor were they lean. They might be a challenge, I'm always the cautious time when it comes to competing in anything. The guy to my right nearly fit the hillbilly stereotype perfectly, except he had a distinct upper new york state accent I heard when he announced his name to the semi large crowd.

"And what's your name son?" the announcer asked as he position his microphone over to me.

"Adam, but everyone calls me Cass" I said leaning down to speak into the microphone. There were a few faint claps in the crowd, surprisingly since they probably never saw me around her before. One of the announcers Helpers came around behind me and tied my hands down. Excitement was filling my entire body up. I wonder if Madison was in the crowd...

"BEGIN!" the announcer exclaimed as he shot a blank into the cool air of the evening. Shoot I was too deep in thought and hadn't paid any attention! The other contestants had already started so there was no time to waste. I shoved my face into my first pile, quickly chewing, swallowing and rotating my face around the pan. I have done this before with a couple of my friends back home so I was already coming in experienced. I finished the first pie off quickly, just as one of the other contestants did. I received another pie and I repeated the process.

I continued this fast pace until I finished my seventh pie. I glades over at my competition, the closet one to me had only finished half his fourth pie! People usually say to keep a slow and steady pace in these competitions. Well now that I had a comfortable lead I decided to take it slow. The crowd was in a uproar now, chanting my name in sync, psyching me up even more. Basically victory was in the bag for me. I thrusted my face up in the air as I finished my eighth pie, the crowd broke out screaming and cheering. I was confused when I felt my hands being untied.

"Congratulations Cass, our time limit is up and you have won our 25 annual pie eating contest. Not only that but you shatter the record by three pies!!" the announcer dude said as the crowd was screaming and leaping with joy. See even us little guys can eat! The announcer's helping came up next to me and pinned my ribbon onto my long sleeves striped polo shirt. I was so proud of myself, proving to the world us small skinny guys can out eat anyone any day of the week at anytime. I was almost caught up in my newfound glory and fame, I almost didn't noticed a girl walking by, who looked just like Madison.

"Thank you Mr. Tummy, you've come through et again" I whispered to myself as I patted my stomach before leaping down in front of the crowd.

"MADISON" I screamed as I started chasing after her. I couldn't run as fast as I usually could, probably because all those darn pies in at. She wasn't too far ahead though I should easily catch up to her.

"Madison!!" I screamed again as I drew closer, she was almost in reach of my arms. This time she heard me and spun around to see what crazy guy was calling her name. Again it dawned on me that she had no idea who I was or what I even looked like. Great going Cass....

"yeah?" Madison asked shooting me a strange look. I wouldn't be surprised if I was creeping her out, me knowing her name and all. "Wait how do you know my name?! I've never seen you before"

"Hmmm" I said as I was thinking of something which would make her identify me easier. I remember a conversation we had awhile back, where I told her some funny things that happened to me. I bet that would identify me with ease!

"Two years ago I got beat up by a fish after I caught it" I said with a glimmer in my eye. I was trying to hold back my excitement, I mean I have just met another one of my wattpad buddies in real life.

"No way....Cass?" she said starring at me in disbelief.

"in the flesh" I said taking a bow, "I've been looking everywhere for you! Your such a hard girl to find"

"You sure" Madison said pointing to my ribbon, "Looks like you were having fun without me, you weren't looking very hard were you?" I rubbed the back of my head and let out a nervous chuckle. She was in a way right, I hoped I didn't make her upset at me.

"Well ugh... DOESNT MATTER I FOUND YOU NOW AND WE'RE GONNA HAVE A BLAST!" I shouted as I literally leaped in the air from all the excitement in me bursting out. Maddie ( her wattpad name and my nickname for her) started to laugh at me and shake her head. I guess I was really a character huh?

"Buuut before that, say cheese and smile for our fans!" I said as I pulled out my camera and sealed a arm around Maddie's shoulder and smiled up at the camera as I snapped it. Yeah definitely going to be a fun night at the fair now that I had her at my side

"Ferris wheel?" I asked

"Ferris Wheel" she answered nodding and smiling at me. Let the fun times commence.
