This is probably going to be long and boring because it's the introductory chapter. So just bare with me.
A heads up;
I plan on making this story all feels, sad and twisted. There WILL be triggering parts and I may or may not put warnings. So, if you don't like that, I'm sorry. Just skip ahead of it or stop reading. It won't bother me. Just don't complain, okay?
The title is based on a song, but that doesn't mean it's like the song. Some parts may be. But not all. So, yeah.
Enjoy now!

I was sitting outside in the cold, sipping a coke. I breathed out through my nose, the warmth of my breath mixing with the coolness of the air. I shivered and set my coke down, rubbing my hands up and down my arms, trying to get warm. I had no jacket so it didn't do much.

I knew I should've went inside but I refused to. I couldn't stand to go in there. I was scared out of my mind and I knew that I would break down in there knowing what we were risking. So I was just going to wait out here until he was done. I still felt like crying, but the coldness nearly numbed the pain by basically focusing my mind on trying to get warm.

I closed my eyes briefly trying to completely silence the sadness in the back of my brain. I needed to remember the good things. Like the past. I couldn't think about what was going on now. The agonizing present and murderous future. The thought of the future sent a shiver down my spine, so I removed the thoughts from my mind, focusing on something different.

Like the feel of his lips against my own.

I loved the feeling of his lips. They were so soft and I absolutely loved how his bottom lip poked out a bit further then his top lip. It was adorable and it made it easier for me to bite it when we had our small make-out sessions. He would smile every time I did so. He would also pout out his bottom lip when I was mad at him. He knew how much I couldn't resist his lips and he used it to his advantage. I could never stay mad at him.

The thought of his lips brought me to thinking of our first kiss. How it was the perfect mix of sadness, anger and happiness. I remembered it so perfectly. I remember every feeling. The mixed emotions. The electricity. Everything was so detailed and it still lasted in my mind.

It was a dark night. We were on a date. I, of course, was the one who asked him to go out with me that night. It was at least out fifth date and I was excited about it. I had planned a perfect night out for us. And I wanted it to be just as I thought it out.

I knew it was a stingy move, but I didn't care at the moment. I just cared about how much I wanted to see him and how much I wanted his lips against mine. It was driving my insane thinking about it.

When I pulled up to his house, I was so nervous. I was sweating and shaking so much. But I ignored it, got out and went up to his door. He was out before I had even gotten the chance to knock. And, man, he looked absolutely perfect that night.

I remember exactly what he was wearing almost like it happened yesterday. He was wearing a black shirt with red and white lines at random places, black skinny jeans, and black Toms. His hair was at the perfect level of messy and straight. The sight of him had made my breath hitch. It was like I was seeing an angel for the first time, if they had existed, that is.

He has that adorable smile of his on his face that he knew drove me wild. As soon as he saw me, those green-blue eyes of his lit up and he looked genuinely happy.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him along behind me. He had no struggle and let me do so as I led him to my car. I opened the door for him and he had gotten in. I basically skipped to the drivers side and got in, starting the car.

"Hi." I had said, pulling out of his driveway.

"Hey.." He had mumbled. He was still nervous around me despite the fact that we had been together for a few weeks. I didn't mind, though. I found his nervousness adorable. And I loved his stutter at times.
