For hours the three left behind in the apartment tried to get TaeMin to unlock the door. They wanted to talk to him and console him but most of all they were exhausted and wanted to go to bed. In the end, they were forced to camp out on the couch, each of them working through their own troubles as they bid a sombre farewell to the last few moments left to the night.

When dawn peaked through the thin curtains of the living room window, the three bunched together on the couches began to stir. JongHyun was the first one up, walking like a zombie to the bathroom to relieve himself. He ignored TaeMin’s clothes which were still polka dotting the whole room. He couldn’t think properly at all. Here he’d been, planning some fancy shmancy crap for his anniversary with Key and instead he ended up being surprised in the worst of ways.

“TaeMin... Open the door...” JongHyun hard MinHo beg as he walked out of that now forever stained room.

                “Use the key.”

MinHo’s bloodshot eyes landed on the short man. Yesterday everyone had been so preoccupied with their anger and confusion that they’d forgotten about the key they kept in the drawer in the kitchen

With feet weighed down by lead socks, MinHo slumped onwards to the eerily quiet kitchen (JongHyun couldn’t help but think that Key should be in there making kimchi soup and rice) and ripped open the drawer. Like a hound hunting down his prey he managed to located the key and bring it back to the door in less than ten seconds. When it swung open, letting a gust of wind blow his short hair back from his forehead. The room seemed to be empty... If anyone were to have glanced quickly into it they would probably have thought that it was empty but considering Minho had his TaeMin radar on full blast he made sure to look properly.

Curled up under his blankets in a tight ball was where TaeMin was situated. He had somehow managed to fall asleep last night. When MinHo gently nudged his shoulder he barely budged.

“TaeMin~ah... Please wake up... We have to talk,” the tall boy whispered.

TaeMin groaned quietly and rolled over. His sleepy eyes slowly peeled open to reveal the dazed look he always got when he woke up. It took a while for them to focus but as soon as TaeMin figured out that the blurry image in front of him was MinHo and not an angel from heaven he hid back under the safety of his blankets again. He felt them getting tugged out of his hands and for a while he tried to put up a fight but in the end his silent crying was his downfall and he was left revealed to  MinHo. He might as well have been naked from the way he was feeling.

“I want to talk to you...” MinHo begged. Before he could say any more TaeMin cut him off.

“I know what you’re going to say... I’m dirty and you hate me and you want to break up with me because I’m so horrible!” he sobbed.

                MinHo’s eyebrows raised in surprise.

“Yah, TaeMinnie... I’m not going to break up with you... I just want to talk; I want to know what happened...”

TaeMin couldn’t help but cry even more at the concern in his boyfriend’s voice. He didn’t deserve his kindness.

“I’m horrible MinHo hyung! That’s it!” he sobbed.

With a hefty sigh the tall boy pulled himself onto the bunk bed beside TaeMin (something that Key would have bitched at him for) and pulled him close to his chest. He ignored the pathetic shoves directed into the center of his torso and held TaeMin until his sobs were nothing but little sniffles. He let a silence blanket them in comfort before posing his question again.
