AT NIGHT
Brandon's POV
Callie and I are in our bed cuddling each other with comfortable silence that Callie breaks :
"A girl or a boy ?" She asks softly
"What ?" Tomorrow's the day we're finally gonna know if we're having a girl or a boy
"Yeah... What do you wish ?"
"As long as the baby's healthy..."
"Yeah you're right..." She admits "If it's a boy I hope he's gonna have your eyes."
"And if we have a girl I hope she's gonna be just like you. The more Callie the better!"
"You're such a dork!" She giggles "Do you think we can do this ?"
"Parenthood is gonna be fun..." I reply mockingly
"I can't wait to know!"
"Me neither !" I say as I kiss her on the forehead
IN THE MORNING
AT THE HOSPITAL
Callie's POV
Brandon and I have been waiting for a couple of minutes in the waiting room. I'm so excited to finally know the sex of our baby.
"Mr and Mrs Foster ?" The doctor asks as we follow her into the examining room. "Hello I guess you must be excited to finally know."
"Yeah... You can't even imagine."
"Let install you Mrs Foster" she demands as lie down
"The liquid might be a little cold" she says as she puts it on my tummy. After a couple of seconds we finally can hear our baby's heart. Brandon kisses me gently on my forehead.
"So ... I know the sex of the baby... Are you still sure you wanna know ?" She asks
"Yeah definitely!" Brandon inquires
"100% sure!" I confirm
"Well, congratulations Mr and Mrs Foster, you're having a little boy!"
"A boy that's amazing!" I say excitedly as I look at Brandon. He has tears in his eyes
"I love you babe" he tells me
