I wasn't angry.
I was happy.
You were quite the catch.
A big fish to have been caught,
On a pretty small hook.
But after awhile
I became angry.
I became angry
Because your sweet lips
Weren't that sweet,
But instead tasted bitter.
I was angry
Because you left me.
Without any warning,
And through another,
You left, as a coward would.
I was angrier when
Your words set fire.
The fake apologies,
The distasteful comments,
The bullshit rumors.
I've never been so angry.
Not anywhere close.
Not so angry where
The mere whisper of a name
Could make my thoughts dismembered.
I know I'll continue to be angry
Because you manipulated
Your way into my head.
It was you who built these blocks
Of utter and pure aggression.
