Sunlight seeped from closed curtans, illuminating the room, even just a little. Grey locks peeked from underneath the thick yet warm blue covers. Underneath the blanket is a girl peacefully sleeping away although today was Thursday. A yawn escaped from her thin pink lips. Her eyes slowly started to open revealing a pair of curelean orbs. She sat up, stretched and yawned and looked at her clock. 6:18. She groaned and pushed away her baby blue blankie away. She got up and took a quick shower due to the water being Arctic cold.
Slipping on a pair of black leggings, a grey turtleneck underneath an oversized sweater, and lastly was a pair of black ankle length fur boots. Picking up her simple black and turqoise sling bag containing a thick notebook with portions fit for all of her classes. Her pencil case and her wallet with her iPhone 6 inside and last but not the least, her favourite black headphones. She sighed and grabbed her car keys then left their estate.
The road was thick with snow and won't be able to see anything at all. Well, almost. The breeze was chilly as it was mid-November and December is coming near. She stopped by a familiar house a couple blocks away from hers and honked. Her BFF came out in a dark blue and green jacket which was half-zipped revealing a bluish-gray long sleeves and a black vest. A pair of black pants and black leather shoes and a simple galaxy backpack. "Hey Lei." He greeted her as he entered the car. She grinned and smiled at him knowingly. "Good morning to you too, Mr. Tight Pants Jonathan." She retorted. The said male gasped exasperately and looked at her. He looked down at his pants sadly and asked Elleina: "Are they really that tight?" Lei pouted a bit as if she were thinking. "Maybe" she said and laughed when Jonathan looked away. She looked at him fondly. His greenish-brown hair and coastal blue eyes and how they used to do each other's style in hair and clothes when they had the tme. Especially last year, their first year in high school. She looked back at the road just as Jonathan shot her a curious look.
Parking her Mitsubishi Montero Sport at the lot behind school with many other cars around them, they got out of the car with their belongings and headed towards the back entrance. She pushed the door open and brathed a sigh of relief. "Finally! The freezing torment has stopped!"she said as she started thanking stuffs like heaters and notebooks. Jonathan just laughed at his friend's weird antics. She looked at him with a thin brow raised. "Are you laughing at me? You've been with a year and 8 months yet you still laugh at my weirdness? Wow." She dramatically sighed and looked away. "And I thought that you were my friend..." she mumbled. Jonathan looked at Elleina worriedly, thinking that he might've done or said something terrible knowing that his friend was quite sensitive. She sharply took a left turn and disappeared behind the doors of the girl's restroom.
Jonathan's POV
I stared endlessly at the lavatory for a least an hour and a half and I didn't mind all the weird satres from fellow calssmates/schoolmates AND teachers. I finally heard the melodic sound of a door unlocking and viola! Lei came out of the toilet with red eyes and puffy nose. And as soon as I saw her, I engulfed her with the most comforting hug I could muster and softly whispered in her ear, "I get it."
