When love becomes a lie, do we keep holding on? Keeping up the act that we're still going strong? Smile a plastic smile to show the world we're fine? Keep our fights behind closed doors so the world continues to be blind to the scars we give each other and the words we can't take back. To the violence of our anger and the fierceness of our attack. When love becomes a lie do we act like we don't know? Give those around us another amazing show? So they never notice that the joy we shared starts to die, because we can't let each other go even though our love has become a lie.
