Ch. 3 The New Kid

*Alarm bell rings*

*Yawns hard* 

"When did i fall asleep?"

I thought to myself. Last night was a busy night. The CD signing was a huge success! 

But now. Back to the normal life. Time for school. 

I got out from my bed and got ready. I grabbed my car keys and then headed towards a place which is called SCHOOL. 

I drive to school by myself. 

I reached school. Parked my car. Took my bag from the back seat and started walking towards the school entrance. There I met Megan. 

Megan complimented me.

"Hey Carly, last night you were looking awesome!"

Megan is my best friend. We have been friends since we both were 3 years old. 

And now we are 18. We share almost everything. And by everything I mean EVERYTHING. We never hide anything from each other.

"Thanks Megan. You were looking good too!"

I replied. 

"Not better than you."

She replied and winked at me. 

"Hahaha. Thank you love"

I replied with a giggle. 

"C'mon, we should get to the Maths class. We are getting late."

Megan said to and held my hand and then started running. 

"Slow down Megan."

I said while we both ran towards class as we were getting late

We entered into the class. Took our seats. Megan always sat infront of me. 

"Good morning class."

Mr. Ward said as he entered the class. He's our Maths teacher. 

"We have a new kid among us. Come here Taylor."

A boy from the back seat got up and went towards the front. 

He was tall. He was a blonde. He had sparkly green eyes, which were quite dreamy. His walking style was simply awesome. He wore jeans and a blue t-shirt. 

"Meet Taylor. He's transfered from Greenwich Village. Please have a seat Taylor. You shall sit beside, ummm....Carly. Yes Carly. Go and sit beside Carly Henry."

"Oh no. The new kid's sitting beside me! No!!!"

I though to myself. 

"Hello!"

Taylor said to me as he put down his bag near his seat. 

"Hey!"

I replied him. 

"He's cute."

Megan whispered in my ear. 

"NO! He's not! Are you crushing on him?"

I asked Megan. 

"Kinda."

She said and she started blushing

"Ok class, Let's get back to our subject."

Mr. Ward announced. 

Slowly, time passed and class ended. When it was over, we all got up and went outside for a little snack.
