Once there was a dog and a cat. The dog loved the cat very dearly, and the same with the cat. Or so the dog believed.
One day, the dog and the cat were walking happily in the streets of New york. Suddenly, a truck turned the corner. Seeing how perfect the oppurtunity was, the mischeivious cat shoved the dog into the road. The dog stumbled and tripped, and was then run over by the truck.
The cat walked up to the dog, seeing him flinch in pain. The dog looked at the cat one last time, said, "I love you," and then died.
"I pity you, you dumb dog," said the cat. The cat left the corpse, walking away with a skip in her step. She smiled, feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders. She couldn't stand the poor dog. It was only her intention to kiss him and leave, but the dog became too attached after that kiss. All she could think about was getting rid of the dog, and now her mission was accomplished.
That night, she got her friends together for a celebration. They danced in an alley next to a house that had a real party going on.
That night, after her friends passed out from eating too much garbage out of the dumpster, the cat couldn't sleep. She thought about what she had done, and now felt guilty. To fix these feelings, or at least alter her guilt, she revisited the crime scene.
When she arrived to the street corner, the cat went to the spot where the dog, now missing, died. She went to the spot, placed her fluffy paw down on his grave, and repeated, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." over and over again, while tears slipped thorugh her fur onto his grave.
Suddenly, a bright light rounded the coner, and the cat was able to apoligize face to face now with the dog.
