Why is this happening?

*Ash's POV*

What could possibly be worse than what is happening with my life right now?

Hindi pa din ako makapaniwala sa lahat ng nangyayari.

Parang kahapon lang nasa akin ang lahat. Pero ngayon, sa isang iglap, nawala sa akin ang lahat.

Mga dalawang oras na yata akong nakatingin lang sa ceiling ng room ko. Wala akong ganang kumain, lumabas o gumawa ng kahit ano ngayon.

Siguro I've checked my phone for 250 times already to check kung nagtext ba si Kent or any of my friends.

Pero wala.

My phone vibrated.

Finally.

I checked it immediately to check kung sino.

*Incoming call from Mom*

"Mom?"

"Hi Ash, how are you? I know this is hard for you pero kayanin mo for us okay?"

"I'm not okay. Nothing seems right! Kailan ka ba babalik, mommy?"

"Soon baby. Madami pa akong dapat ayusin. I hope you understand. Anyway, remember what I told you last night? Dun ka muna titira sa friend ko, you remember your Tita Cleo right?"

"Yes, of course. But, but, she has 5 sons and lives hundred miles away from our place!"

"Yes, Ash. You guys used to be friends back then naman right? Plus, your Tita Cleo offered and promised to take good care of you. She's very fond of you since they don't have a daughter."

OMG. This can't be happening!!!

I mean don't get me wrong, I love Tita Cleo and Tito Martin. Tita and mom used to be best friends since HS. They used to send me gifts every Holidays and we used to visit each family every once in a while.

Then here comes the disaster. 5 years ago, when I was 12, we visited them. At nakasama ko na naman ang 5 sons ni tita. Sila Colton, Trey,  West, Adrian and Parker.

Noong mga bata pa kami, when I was like 3-7 years old, playmates kami. Lahat kami ay magkakasundo pa.

Mas matanda sakin si Colton ng 2 years, one kay Trey at same age ko si West. Adrian and Parker are twins and younger ng 1 year sakin.

But nagulat ako when we last met. I thought everything would be the same.

But I guess after 5 years of not seeing each other since naging busy si mom and dad sa business nila, everything changed.

Hindi na nila ako pinapansin. They even refused to play with me. Natatandaan ko pa noong nireject nila ako for the first time.

"Hi Colton! Tagal natin di nagkita, let's play!!"

Hindi nya ako pinansin.

Instead, he just looked at me then returned on playing with the other guys.

"Oh okay. Trey?"

"Guys look, si Ash tabASHoy!" sabi ni Trey

Then they all laughed in chorus. (I used to be chubby when I was a kid)

I got teary eyed. What happened???

We used to be friends! But I guess not anymore.

Natuloy ang iyak ko nang lagyan ni Parker ng bubble gum ang buhok ko.

West, my used to be best friend to all of them since siya yung ka-age ko, did nothing. He's even laughing!

ASSHOLE.

I cried and went back to my parents.

That day, I promised not to talk to any of them.

They've grown to be bullies. And I hate them.

I snapped back into reality..

"Mom, ayoko please. I could just live here alone."

"Ash, we already sold the mansion and I can't let you live on your own. You're only 17."

"But, what about my studies? My friends? Kent?"

"You'll continue your studies there and would definitely make new friends. About Kent, I know he'll understand."

"But.."

"No more buts, Ash. Wala na tayong ibang choice. By the way, your tita Cleo and Tito Martin, papunta na sila jan ngayon to pick you up."

"WHAT? Pero hindi pa ako nakaka---"

*DING DONG*

I'm screwed.
