The start of New beginnings

I was running through the woods wearing only my joggers and my brothers shirt which was in fact covered in dirt and blood from my scraped cheek and arm.I didn't know why I was running but I did know something was following me and I couldn't let it get to me.I continued running until I couldn't take it anymore,I had to stop for a breath.I looked at my surroundings and saw the tree with the little marking shaped on it making it look like a T.

Now you might be wondering what is so interesting about a tree with a T shaped carving.Well it wouldn't be so interesting if I hadn't passed it almost three times already.

Great,not only was I running in circles but something was chasing me and in the time I took to rest and think it was probably already here considering the low growl I was hearing.

Shaking I turned around to find the most awful looking beast I had ever seen and trust me, my dad had trained me and my brother to slay all types of things.But this thing was something else,I could feel the immense power oozing from it.The the worst thing happened.

It walked forward me and shifted into a human being.The face was hidden by the shadows but my eye sight was good enough to see red eyes.Usually I'm not afraid of red eyes because my dads side of the family have red eyes but their usually kind red eyes especially my dads.But this things we're the most wildest red eyes I have ever seen.You could see the evil in the world and the worst kind of things just through it's eyes.

It continued to step towards me until it was right next my ear.It started whispering some weird words I couldn't decipher into my ears.I continued to shake while listening until it finally spoke something I clearly understood.

"I'm coming for you"

I woke up in a jolt confirming it was a dream.These dreams were getting more frequent and I was starting to get more worried.I checked my surroundings breathing very hard.I thought I was safe until I heard a banging on my door.I was still shaken up from my dream so don't judge me when I stood up from my bed and grabbed the closest thing I could reach for just in case,which just happened to be one of my heels.At least it's sharp enough.

I slowly inched closer to the door as whoever was on the other side kept knocking.I gently put my hand on the knob and twisted readying my heel,however when I opened my door wide I didn't expect to see my twin brother.

Luckily before I could kabob his eyes out with my heel he grabbed my wrist stopping my movements.

"Woah Artemis not a demon here,and really,a heel?" I rolled my eyes as he talked.

"Apollo,why the fuck are you knocking on my door at....." I checked my clock for the time.

"At six in the morning." It was now his turn to roll his eyes as he pushed past me and motioned for me to close the door to my room.

"Oh no just walk into my room,it's not like I'm not trying to sleep here." I made my way over to him as he sat himself on my couch.

"Don't talk to me like that considering that you just had a crazy dream that woke me up.Luckily you didn't wake mom and dad up." I stood still in shock as he raised an eyebrow at me.

"Did you have another one of those dreams?" I nodded at him.Its not like I couldn't tell him.I mean he's my brother and twin,we tell each other everything.

"I know mom said that since we were close to our eighteenth birthday our powers would start surfacing but I don't think these weird dreams are part of it." Our parents had told us almost everything about their past.They have been through a lot especially my mom who doesn't like to talk about it.
