Chapter 1: Meeting...HIM

Valerie's POV




It's been 10 years. I am now 26 and I am back in Orlando. I stared at my reflection in the full-length bathroom mirror. I look exactly the same as I did 10 years ago. I pulled my waist long dark brown hair into a messy bun then, got dressed in a teal sundress paired with tan sandals.

I have to go to work on my new movie. Hell yeah, that's right, I got a job!!! Two actually!! I'm the newest pop/rock star and I'm one of Americas greatest actresses, ranging in movies from 'Aaaah!Zombies!' To 'Hunger Games; Catching Fire'. I replaces Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss. Now, I'm working on the movie 'Pirates of the Caribbean' with my friend Johnny Depp. Ever since Niall and I broke up, I needed someone to comfort me. I don't know what I saw in Niall. He was the biggest jerk in Jerkville. I haven't seen any of my ex-friends since then and frankly, I don't want to. They ruined my life! So, I moves back to Orlando and bought a mansion with my parents' money. Well, I decided that I needed to do something with my life and I auditioned for Pirates of the Caribbean. Well, after the audition, I found out I got the part and that's when I met Johnny and now we are really great friends. He is the funniest guy EVER!!!!Unlike Niall...!

I also have a NEW AND IMPROVED boyfriend, Matt Webb. He's the lead guitarist and backing vocals to my favorite band Mariana's Trench.

"Babe, I'm heading to the set early because Jimmy wants me to practice a scene!!" I yelled upstairs to where Matt was.

"Ok sweetheart!" He shouted back.

I grabbed my keys off the counter and skipped to the car. I hopped into the drivers seat of my black and blue Bugatti and drove downtown. Today was the big day. Today was the premiere of my new movie. 'Wild Target'.

I turned on the radio on the radio and it blasted the song 'Best Song Ever' of course, by One Direction. I quickly changed the station to another that was playing 'This Shit Gets Old' (Great Song). I hummed along 'till I reached the movie theaters. I walked in and sat in the lobby where I was to sign autographs.

After about and hour and a half, the movie finished and a crowd of fans lined up at my table. Rupert Grint, my co-star, gave me a hug and sat down in his spot next to me. The first person in line was a girl about 14 years old.

"Hi sweetie, what your name?" I asked her. She smiled and handed me a headshot of my character.

"M-My name is Delilah." She practically whispered.

"That's a beautiful name!" I told her, which made her giggle.

I took the photo and signed;

To Delilah,

You never know where they are going to take you!:D

62 autographs and 54 pictures later, it was time for me to go to the studio.

*At The Studio*




I went up the elevator to the fifth floor, where my session was. I jogged to studio room number 27 and barged through the door. Standing with Jimmy was an unknown man. Jimmy looked up and motioned me over to them. Jimmy was in charge of my music AND acting.

"Ah, Valerie! This is Mr. Simon Cowell. He is your new music manager." Jimmy introduced the older man. This isn't a surprise to me, this happens all the time, ya know, switching companies.

Simon stuck his hand out for me to shake, I took it.

"Ello, Valerie!" He said in a thick British accent. "I've heard a lot of great things about you so, I just had to have you under my label."he said ecstatically. I smiled and nodded. He then reached into his pocket. He pulled out a business card and handed it to me.

"Here's my card! Stop by my house tonight and we can talk about it." I nodded and he left.

Now it was time to practice my lines.

"Ok Valerie, now start from 'I have something you might need' and I'll do Jacks part." I did as I was told.

"I think I have something you might need." I said in my fake pirate voice, which Jimmy said was spot on.

The next thing my character does is go to the back of the room and brings back a jar. I grabbed a water bottle next to me to symbolize the jar.

Jimmy took it like Jack was supposed to.

(J=Jimmy, V=Valerie)

J- "This...This is a jar of dirt."

V-"Yeesss."

J- "Will the jar of dirt help...?"

V-"If you don't want it, give it back."

J-"NO!"

V-"Then it helpsssss!"

"Ok that was perfect Val, I think you are ready!" Jimmy praised me using my nickname.

I smiled and gave him a hug, leaving the studio.

This is the NEW me.
