Such a wonderful day, don't you think? Well if you thought it was ,you're wrong, sorry to break it to you. I have to go to a rotten school, where the food is worse than prisoners get.

Man, I forgot to introduce myself, how silly of me. I'm Destany Williams, daughter of the missing Tera Williams.

Hm, haven't heard of it I presume? Well sit back and relax, this'll take a while to explain.

This event happened when I just turned the age of six. My mother and I were doing the usual, watching scary movies while dining on buttered popcorn. It was our favorite thing to do together.

I remember when the movie was finished there was a strange, loud knock at the door. My mother and I lived in the forest, around no one that we knew of.

She told me, ''Go upstairs and hide my darling.'' Being the obeying daughter, I went upstairs and hid under my mothers bed, an old fashioned rotary phone beside my side.

After minutes of sitting under the bed, gripping the handle of the phone, I crawled out from under the bed. As I did, a door slamming echoed throughout the house.

I ran to the window, peeking out of the curtain, the phone in my small hand. I had dialed 911 after seeing a abnormally tall man with tentacles shooting out of his body. One of those tentacles was carrying my mother.

When the policed arrived after the incident that happened, they couldn't find any evidence of a struggle or a kidnap. They sent to a foster home, where I spend my time now.

Well that was pretty much part of my life summed up in two minutes. Such a sad, heart throbbing story. I won't be here long. Just in a couple months, I can leave this place. I'll be an adult.

''Destany, the bus is waiting outside,'' Mrs. Davis shouted. I made my way downstairs, skipping a couple of steps. I quickly went into the kitchen, grabbing an apple out of the fruit basket. I walk out the door, chomping on my apple.

I looked at the old yellow bus in front of my house. I let out a sigh before steeping up on the bus.

As soon as I got onto the bus, eyes were on me. I walked down the aisle, hearing occasional whispers. Rolling my eyes, I sat down beside my only friend Samantha, but I call her Sam for short.

''Hey Destany, nice weather we're having huh?'' She says to me, giving me a small smile. I nod to her politely, still eating my apple.

After fifteen torturing minutes on the bus, it stopped right in front of the school. Everyone stands up, shoving people to get off of the bus. Samantha and I wait until everyone gets off the bus. Once they do, we walk off of the bus, talking to each other.

I toss my apple core into the trashcan. ''I'm going to go talk to some other people. I'll see you later.'' Sam says to me quietly before running off to her locker where her other friends surrounded.

I let out a small sigh, walking to class. She's my friend, but I didn't say she was a good one.

As I got to class, I sat down in the way back, keeping my head down. Soon people started walking in and the once quiet classroom was now filled with noise.

'Please kill me,' I thought to myself, resting my head on the cool table.

---------Skippy Skip---------

Finally after eight torturing hours of that hell hole, I now can go home. I walked out of the school, and started to walk home. It took a while to get home, about forty minutes, but I'd rather walk home then stay at school.

I looked around, kicking a small pebble as I walked. It was really quiet, too quiet. Most people would be walking home at the moment too, but I guess they had practice, or gotten a ride home. At least I get some peace though.

After ten minutes of walking, I heard a small noise. It was a stepping on a twig noise, which means someone is following me, horror movie wise. I look around suspiciously, my eyes traveling over the forest entrance. For a couple minutes, I kept a stern gaze on the entrance, not blinking once.

Seeing nothing, I decided it was just my mind playing tricks on me. I started to walk again, glancing at the forest as I did, just to make sure nothing popped out at me.

Finally after thirty more minutes, I was home.

I opened the front door, kicking my shoes off. I make my way into the kitchen to find something to snack on. Walking over to the fruit bowl, I see a small note attached to it.

Dear Destany,

I knew you'd first stop at the fruit bowl. My husband and I will be back later tonight. Please do not eat everything in the house, I do like food as well.

With love,

Mrs. Davis

I chuckle at the note, tossing it in the bin before grabbing an orange. I then made my way upstairs, and into my room.

I plop myself down on my bed, peeling the orange I grabbed in my hand. I grab my laptop, munching on an orange slice. I start to scroll through the local news. One title caught my eye.

Man Found Dead In An Alleyway

Young high school student, Aaron Jackson was found dead a while ago with a knife wound in his stomach. Nobody has found any traces of evidence at the scene. Some say in was a smuggler, but others think it is the killer that's never been caught.

Please lock your doors, the killer is still out there.

My eyes widened at the news. I knew him, he was a guy in my class.

I shut my laptop, unwanted cold chills going threw my spine. I looked at the clock on the wall.

10:00 p.m. It's pretty late, I should get some rest. I turned the lights off in my room, leaving a slight crack in the door for light to come in.

I lay down in my bed, pulling the covers over top of me. My mind went to the news I read earlier. I let out a sigh, trying to calm myself down.

I closed my eyes slowly, letting sleep consume me.

BANG!

I sit up in my bed, frightened by the sudden noise. What in the world was that? I turn on the lamp beside me, pulling out a knife from my table. I looked around the room then my eyes met a man that was on the floor, holding his shin in pain.

I let out a scream, getting out of bed, holding the knife out in front of me. ''Who are you?'' I shouted, looking at the man that was in my floor.

He stood up, his greasy black hair covering his face. A menacing laugh came out of him the he looked at me.

His face was abnormally pale and his eyelids looked to be burned off. My eyes traveled down to his mouth. There was a smile, a permanent smile, which was cut to mid cheek.

He held up a knife of his own, looking at me like I was his prey.

''My name is Jeff...... Jeff the Killer.'' His voice was rough and raspy, like he hadn't drank water in a couple of days.

After he had said that, he ran at me, holding the knife high. I grabbed his arm as he tried to swing down on me. I took his knife out of his hand, plunging it into his shoulder. I then held my knife in front of me again, about to throw it at him.

Then something knocked the knife out of my hand. I turned, seeing a very tall man at my door. As he got closer, my eyes widened. He had no eyes, no mouth, no nose, no features at all.

That was the man that took my mother. He hit me with a tentacle, knocking me down on my bed. ''Destany, child there is a lot to explain.'' He said, bending down to my height.

Damn, I should've locked the door...
