You see this story takes a bit of explaining because its not like your normal fairy-tale.
You see on one side of the wall there are the bearers born with a gem in their navels, the gem can produce great sorcery.

And then there are the non-bearers the inferiors they dont have the ability to use sorcery.

But that was before a bearer was born.....on the wrong side. So
