An English essay story thing

Prologue

Lindsay was created by her parents on 12/25/1676 in human terms, though it hardly matters, because Lindsay's homeland time works very differently from ours. She was created when her parents decided that they needed more power. To get that power, they needed to create something that would grow, and later produce its own energy in a reliable way. Thus they fused some of their energy to create a sphere-like object that emitted a soft blue glow and somewhat resembled an egg. Lindsay started off as the ball of energy and soon started growing to resemble a more fetus like humanoid shape. Her parents would allow her to grow older until she had the most power to give them when she died. Of course her parents would teach her nothing in order to reduce the chance of her survival.

All was well in the household until the designated day of Lindsay's awakening or 'birthday'. The day started off normal for Lindsay's parents as usual, but quickly escalated to something darker and more dangerous.

All in all Lindsay's parents were very feared and respected in their fiery and dark demon community, but there was one sketchy demon who trusted and respected no one, known as (insert intimidating demon name here). This was unusual, as many demons held alliances in order to prevent their destruction, an example being Lindsay 'parents'. This same demon was very powerful, but refused make alliances with other demons, out of worry that he might get power stolen from him if he accidentally showed the ally his weakness. Of course he, like the rest of the town, had heard of the small orb of energy that was to be Lindsay, so he waited and plotted for the day that he would be able to steal the most energy from her.

"It's over. They are dead." (insert intimidating demon name here) thought to himself. "I can't believe that I actually killed them. Well, now all that is left to do is to send the child someplace where others can care for it, while keeping its knowledge of our kind and how to use its energy to the smallest amount possible." (insert intimidating demon name here) pondered the location before reaching the conclusion that earth would be the best place for it to grow in energy, because the dim animals known as humans had a very limited knowledge on what they called 'supernatural beings'. That and any other planet would destroy it in seconds. With his plan set on sending it to earth, he packed his bags and left, sweeping his long black cloak behind him, intent on finding a host to inhabit and a place for it to stay in order to avoid a death too early for his plans to take full effect.
