Kuroko no Basket: Aomine Daiki x Reader

Start from the beginning

And you ended your phone call.

"I like that last line (name)." - teammate 1
"Thanks."
"But that makes him the..." - teammate 2
"43rd guy."
"Woah. Are you serious?" - teammate 3
"Yep. And if you're wondering why I haven't asked anyone of them well its because none of them are the one for me."
"If you say so captain." - teammate 2
"OK ladies, back to work!" - (girl name)

Timeskip to three days later

"Come on (name)! Hurry up! The game's about to start!"
"Alright alright. Let's go before you rip my arm off."
"But you were so slooooow and let's go!" (Girl name) said as she yanked your arm towards the open court where a game will be held. She has been pleading you for the past two days to come with her and watch. You ought to say no but she can be quite a whinny brat (her words, not yours) if she doesn't get what she really really wants.

"Has the game started already?"
"Yeah and its 50-3 already."
"Woah! (Name) you gotta see this!"

The game was basketball and you instantly saw the two guys from last time.

"Oh yeah, they were playing basketball."
"Hm? Who?"
"Those two." You pointed at Sakurai and Aomine.
"You know them?"
"Well kinda... I actually met them after that Aomine hit me with the ball and didn't even say sorry. Hmph!"

But you had to admit, they were pretty amazing. The game ended with 120-12 with the duo winning. When the others left, you were dragged by (girl name) to the two. Aomine noticed.

"Ah? What are you two doing here?"
"What else? We watched the game duh." You rolled your eyes at him.
"Y-Y-You were a-a-amazing S-S-Sakurai-san!"
"Eh? Ah, thanks (surname)-San."

Your friend's ears turned red and was a stammering mess. You crossed your arms and just looked at her as she talked to him. So this is the guy she likes huh.

"Never thought that I'd see you here."
"She was begging me non stop. It was getting a bit  annoying."
"And she's red now."
"Beet red. And  its a surprise that I kinda agree with you."
"Whatever shorty."
"I am not short! And you still owe me an apology!"

We completely forgot about the other two in front of us and they were trying to pull us away.

And so after that day, me and him would sometimes bump into each other and we would quarrel and insult each other. And I am running out of insults for him hmph!

TIME SKIP TO A WEEK LATER

"Finally! Its all done!" I happily exclaimed as I finished organizing the files and stacked them all in order. For the entire day I was busy with a ton of activities like volleyball practice, academic activities, group activities and student assistant duties. The last one (the one which I just finished) was the most tiring one as I had to arrange A LOT (as in a lot) of files and had to rearrange them again because one of the student assistants accidentally tripped over them. She helped of course but when we were done, it was already dark.

"Are you sure you don't want a ride (surname)-san?"
"Nah I'm good. Besides I could use the exercise you know."
"True. Its for this year's volleyball intersection right?"
"Yep."
"Good luck with that. See you tomorrow."
"Yeah, you two."

And off she went. I turned and began to walk home as well. I stopped by a grocery mart and bought something before leaving to walk on the other street direction which leads to somewhere near my house. I was humming (song title) while walking but the most unfortunate thing happened to any athlete happened to me.

I slipped. And fell hard.

I didn't notice that the floor was wet and slippery. And when I tried to move, my ankle hurts. I looked at it and it didn't look good. "Now of all times." I complained. I tried to stand up but I couldn't. My ankle hurts whenever I move it.
