I woke up smiling as I rolled over but my smile fades away.
Luke was gone.
Weird if he went to work early he would wake me up, I get my phone and text him.
To: Luke
Hey did you go to work early?
sent 9:30pm Monday.
I got up getting dressed, I walk to the kitchen making myself some toast. I open the curtains making the amazing view of the city take my breath away, I ate my toast as I put my shoes on.
I walked to the bathroom fixing my hair as I brush my teeth.
I checked my phone he hasn't text back.
I walked out of my apartment putting my phone into my purse walking down the hallway and taking the stairs, I walked outside waving my hand for a taxi. Finally one has stop as I crawled in.
"Good morning Ms where will you be going?" He asked
"Chanel" I said
"Buying new clothes?" He asked driving
"I'm one of the designers" I smiled
"That's great job" he says
"It is" I smiled
Finally I got to my destination, I gave the taxi driver money. I walked inside the building as I got greeted by Timothy in the front office.
I was ready to start an other day at my job, but I was still waiting for Luke to text me back.
"Good morning Lily" Gemma smiles at me as she hands me a cup of coffee
"Good morning Gemma, and thank you" I smiled
"Are you okay? You looked worried" she sits next to me
"I'm not worried at all." I breath out
__
Its been a long day, Gemma offered me a ride home and I gladly expected her offer. I walked inside my apartment waiting to see Luke there smiling at me as he had dinner ready.
But he wasn't there
"Luke?" I said but silence greeted me.
I check my phone 7:10pm
I called him but it said the number has change I sat down my couch my heart pounding. Tears rolled down my cheeks.
I called his work and said that Luke quit his job today and they never saw him since then.
Was it possible that Luke left and he would ever come back?
