Katherine's P.O.V

I watched him walked out and close the door. He was prefect. I felt empty the minute he left.I really likes Kaleb but I don't think he likes me though. Cassidy probably have him wrapped around her finger. I couldn't help but being jealous earlier,they shared some secret without me knowing.  She may be my best friend but she always sucks up to any new friend and it's kind of annoying now. I saw the way she looked at him when she was telling him it wasn't his fault and the way he looked back. Once again I'm the third wheel and the outcast to the trio. There was once another girl who we befriended last year,her name was Shari. She was from Australia and was an exchange student for just a year. As soon as she entered our class she was greeted by Cassidy. She is super friendly at least was. Shari became our friend and spent almost every minute with us.  But she was more closer to Cassidy and they'd normally do things together and I'd only know like the day after or a long time after when it bought up. At first I didn't mind but then it gotten worst and soon they were taking pictures and saying besties and stuff like that. And I still hadn't say a word.  When time came around for Shari to leave we threw her a going away party. At the party I only got to say a few words with Cassidy for she was partying with Shari. I didn't mind either because I'm not one to party and I knew when Shari left I'd have my best friend again. I knew whether or not there's someone new I'd never replaces because they always leave and I'd still be here.
   Now it seems to be the same. Kaleb is here but I don't want to him to leave I really like him . I doubt I'd have a chance with him though because maybe he likes Caassidy. I sighed.

"Whats wrong ?" Cassidy asks.

"Nothing just tired." I say to her.

"Tired? When are you ever tired?" She asks . Since you seems to like the boy I really likes and I think he likes you back and because your my best friend I'd given up that for you to be with him. I wanted to say that so badly I say something different.

"Since I'd not gotten any sleep the past few days." I sighed.  That was half the truth.

"Why ?" She asks

"The baby. He cries every night and its really loud. I can't sleep with the crying its strange and annoying."I say irritated just thinking of it. My step-mother and my dad had a child together. Its not that I hated the baby it's that I don't think my father is the baby's father. For my step-mother is a cheater. I caught her once but didn't tell my father.  The baby cries almost all night maybe even the neighbors hear it at nights.

"Aww. Poor thing. But the baby is so cute. Your lucky to have a baby brother." She cooed

"Yeah I guess. But it didn't have to be this annoying though." I say with a sigh. 

"But he's still cute." She sings

"You haven't even seen him yet..." I trailed off

"But ! Still he's cute. Babies are always cute . I wanna see him." She whined.

"Well he's there,at the house I mean. So you can come visit." I say with a smile.

"Okaii."She chirped. It had been a while since she was this happy and being herself. Ever since her dad's death she turn into a mean ass and a brat. She didn't leave my side even though she was going through her phase. Well technically she wouldn't have a chance to leave because every time she got hurt she came to me late at nights to take care of her injuries. She use to street fight and I'm positively sure she isn't anymore.  Yeah. Cassidy is a tough ass girl. I'm glad she's pass that phase now though I was getting too use to seeing her blood.  But that's a total different story.

"So where's that brother of yours?" I asked Cassidy.

"Oh you mean the dog ? Well he's probably in his room tearing up the carpet or licking away at his skin , or you know doing stuff that dogs do." She says .

"He's not a dog Cassidy. He's a human being like us."

"No he's a dog. When we were younger he normally licks my face and I'm pretty sure he still does." She says

"Maybe when he was younger he had some weird fetish or something."

"No uh he's a dog. And I'm sure."

"Then if he's a dog then you are one then. You know what a female dog is called.?" I asks he sheepishly.

"No Cassidy please tell me." She says sarcastically.

"Well a female dog is a bitch. So you're a bitch then." I say calmly.

"Yes Katherine . Yes I'm a bitch. You're the best friend of a bitch." She says cheerfully

"Yasssss.!!" I cheer on with her.

"Well this bitch is hungry. Come on we going to Popeyes." She say and got up. I stalked behind her, on our way to the stair case we past by Jason's room and heard growling. Cassidy looks at me with a look of triumph and I rolled my eyes.  I don't think he's growling maybe he's watching something. Cassidy opened the door and what I say was unbelievable.

Jason was on his hands and knees and was making growling  sounds at something. Cassidy took out her phone and began videoing him. What surprised me though is that he kind of did something like wiggling.  I Sware he's maybe doing some training  thing or something.

"See I told you he was a dog." Cassidy says happily. Hearing her voice he froze and Cassidy started to laugh. He turned and looked at us his eyes widened when he saw Cassidy's phone.

"Say ruff ." Cassidy says .

"I-it's not what it looks like. I was just trying to scare the bug away a-and I kind of gotten caught up."

Cassidy was now laughing so hard tears were running from her eyes.But who scares a bug by growling at it? You simply just smack it away. God damn. I couldn't help but laugh too.

"Well you're officially a dog now. Cassidy you were right." I say to her. She was still laughing and Jason was sitting in his bed and mumbling to him self. He got up and slammed the door in ours faces. 

"You know I should have bet in this and make some money." Cassidy says while we walk down the stairs.

"You should have baby ,you should have."
